The play opens with a radio announcement of a woman murdered in London. Mollie and Giles have just opened a small guest house. The suspense mounts as each guest arrives in this skillfully written murder thriller. Directed by guest director Stephen Balantzian and performed by SUNY Ulster theater department students. BIOS

Brandon Anders (Sergeant Trotter): Brandon Anders is a theatre major at SUNY Ulster and this will mark his sixth production. Previous credits include The Foreigner as The Reverend David Marshall and Dancing at Lugnasa as Gerry Evans. He hopes to transfer to SUNY New Paltz in the fall. Stephen Balantzian (Director): Stephen teaches here in SUNY Ulster’s Theatre Program. He co-directed the fall production of You Can’t Take it With You. He has acted locally, regionally, Off-Broadway, and Broadway. Recent credits include: Cyrano de Bergerac with Kevin Kline and Jennifer Garner (Richard Rodgers Theatre), Gutenberg! The Musical! (Amphibian Productions-Ft. Worth, TX), and locally: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Goldenstone Productions), and RENT (Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center). TV: Cyrano de Bergerac (PBS’s Great Performances), and guest star appearances on Law & Order (NBC) and Traveler (ABC). Next, he is performing with SUNY New Paltz’s Theatre Dept. in The Who’s Tommy as an alumni guest star. He is an active and proud member of SAG and Actor’s Equity. MFA: Rutgers University, BA: SUNY New Paltz. Anna Dresdale (Molly Ralston): This is Anna's final production at SUNY Ulster. She has most recently performed in You Can't Take It With You as Gay and The Dutchess Olga Katrina and in Trojan Women in which she played Cassandra. She'd like to thank all the amazing directors, designers, casts, and crews she has had the privilege of working with during her time at Ulster. These past couple of years have changed her life, and she can't say thank you enough. Virginia Ferri (Mrs. Boyle): Virginia is a vocalist and actress who has appeared in local musicals and plays for many years. Her latest appearance was in Talking With at The Rosendale Theatre directed by Ann Citron. She appeared in a reading of Red Masquerade for The Clockwork Theatre, NYC and in local productions for New Paltz Summer Repertory Theatre and The Shadowland Theatre in Ellenville, NY. Virginia is very grateful to Stephen Balantzian for inviting her to join this wonderful cast. Roger Hanna (Set Design, Technical Direction, Lighting Design) has designed over 200 shows, most recently in New York City Fyvush Finkel Live! for the National Yiddish Theatre, Sinners and Saints for Mannes Opera, What the Public Wants for the Mint Theatre, and The Yellow Brick Road for Theatreworks USA. His next designs include A Little Journey for the Mint Theatre (for whom his previous designs earned Henry Hewes and Drama Desk nominations, as well as winning the Lortel Award for Best Scenic Design) and Falstaff for Mannes Opera (for whom he has designed all productions since 2004). Other designs of note include collaborations with Laura Alley, Jack Allison, Tracy Bersley, Joseph Colaneri, Robin Guarino, Ron Jenkins, and Susan Marshall, at venues including Sarasota Opera, the Provincetown Playhouse, Jacob's Pillow, and Dance Theater Workshop. Anika was last seen in CATS at the Center for Performing Arts At Rhinebeck. She would like to thank Stephen Balantzian, Kaitlynn Cornell, Grainne Moffett, and this wonderful cast! Mike Morris (Mr. Paravicini): This is Mike’s first production with SUNY Ulster. He is currently a music major, with a concentration in music education. He would like to thank everyone, especially Stephen for the opportunity and Anika Krempl for introducing him. Ibrahim Mulrain (Major Metcalf): This is Ibrahim's first production at SUNY Ulster. He studied under James Price at the Acting Studio Inc. and is now a Theatre Arts major here at SUNY Ulster. LeeAnne Richards (Miss Casewell): This is LeeAnne's first show here at SUNY Ulster. Past Production companies that she has been involved with are Backstage Studio Productions, Castaway Players, and Arm of the Sea Productions. LeeAnne is now enrolled at Genesee Community College for Theatre Technology. Morgan Thrapp (Christopher Wren): This is Morgan's second show here at SUNY Ulster. Morgan has been acting most of his life and hopes to make a career out of it. He has really enjoyed working with the cast, and hopes to do so again. Tim VanEtten (Giles Ralston): Tim is in his second semester at SUNY Ulster and The Mousetrap will mark his second production here. Previous credits include being the master electrician and the part of Mr. Kirby in You Can't Take It With You, as well as Dr. Gibbs in Ellenville High Schools production of Our Town. Tim would like to thank Stephen Balantzian for his wonderful directing and our amazing production crew. Show Dates:
