The SV Football team has worked incredibly hard the entire summer and fall for the opportunity they have on Saturday.... the first round playoff game.
Unfortunately, since it’s a playoff game the IHSA makes it significantly more difficult to bring you the game via livestream. They charge a large fee in order to stream the game, as well as other restrictions the further you get in postseason. Although we had every intention to bring all of you the game on Saturday, it will just not be possible.
We hope that the entire community can make it to the game and fill the stadium to show our support to these student-athletes that have worked very hard... they deserve our support.

With that said, if any local businesses would like to consider sponsorships/advertising to keep this going in the future... we would love to chat about these opportunities to help overcome these hurdles with the IHSA next time around. Also, we are considering on doing a few boys basketball games this season as well.

We know many of you were looking forward to watching the game here last night vs. Oregon, so we apologize for not being able to do so. We setup and tested everything earlier in the day and had no issues at all. Unfortunately, when we went to go live immediately after kickoff... our internet speed came to a screeching halt! We tried numerous things in hopes to figure out a workaround... but no success.

Luckily, SV is home next week and we will be figuring out some backup plans for the future away games. We appreciate all of your support and are excited for the next game vs. North Boone!

The game time has been moved up to 5pm. We will still livestream the game, however there is a good chance we will not be able to go live until closer to 5:15pm!

With the threat of some bad weather this evening, there is the POSSIBILITY that the game time will be moved up.

If that change happens we will do our best to stream the game still. With that said, the stream would most likely start shortly after the game has begun. We will do our best to keep you updated on the kickoff time and an estimated time of our livestream.
