This is the current view of downtown Stevenson from our live camera on the Skamania County Courthouse roof. As you can see, Stevenson is open for business. Yet the fire continues to burn across the river, affecting Cascade Locks, it's people and businesses. Traffic is flowing through Stevenson, westbound on SR 14 and eastbound on First Street. Stop at our restaurants, shops and businesses. Get a coffee to go, have a leisurely lunch before hitting the road, fill up with gas, get snacks for the trip, buy some flowers to fill your house with beauty. And remember to return to Stevenson time and time again. But remember to visit Cascade Locks (Visit Cascade Locks) too. Hello Fiddlers and Fans of the Columbia Gorge Fiddle Contest! In an effort to grow the contest and offer unique programming and workshops, we have decided to host the contest apart from the Columbia Gorge Bluegrass Festival. We will NOT be part of Bluegrass this year and are looking at an alternate date - so please stay tuned!! We want to thank Bluegrass for helping give Fiddlers a jump start in getting established and we encourage contestants to still support Bluegrass - enjoy the great festival as usual and experience everything the Stevenson area has to offer!! Ya'll should take a look at this video from the City of Stevenson (pay close attention at 1:55). They're working to redo the space in front of the courthouse where we have our flashmob jam. It's clear they're counting us musicians in for the long haul in the city's future planning....What a cool jam space!!! Hit that like button and comment to let them know what you think!

We've always known the north shore is the "light" side of the Columbia River! Thanks to Friends of the Columbia Gorge for sharing their insights with Seattle. Walking Man Brewing and Big River Grill are, as always, making Stevenson shine.
