Gunnells Family Christmas Light Show

I need to sell much of the Christmas light show stuff to get some extra money. I’m not sure how to go about this since this was my late husband’s stuff and so much of it .... We have at least 2 controllers and tons of LED lights. He also bought the RGB? Lights that you can program any color and also strips of lights that you can use to make your own LED show on a tree etc. I just have no idea where to begin w mega tree frames and all of this. Is there a re-sell marketplace for all of it?

Normally Grady would be getting the light show already set up. He took off the entire week of Thanksgiving to have it all ready to go by the first Saturday of December. So many of his friends would also come and help. Our kids loved to see the lights go up each day and watch as the show slowly came together over a week. Grady would have programmed the music months in advance and designed the yard lights. I still think of new things we would have added each year. He always let me have a special little part to set up and pretty much let me choose the music. I will miss my gingerbread candyland village and all of the snowflakes he built from scratch. I will miss the happiness each night in his face as he looked out the window to see how many cars were parked outside to watch the show. Oh he loved it. He loved for all of you to love it. I had people tell me all the time that we should put a box for donations to help pay for all the Christmas decorations each year. But Grady said no. He wanted people to come and be free to experience a fun light show without feeling obligated to give. That’s how Grady was. He wanted to help others and expected nothing in return. It will be such a sad Christmas this year for so many reasons. I already knew it would be sad because my brother was dying of cancer and probably wouldn’t make it to Christmas 2017. I had no idea that Grady wouldn’t make it either. Please take a moment to hug your family and to do something nice for another person/family. Take a little of Grady’s Christmas spirit and spread it around. Thanks to all of you for coming each year. It made Grady so happy to make you happy and for all of you to be part of the spirit of Christmas.

For those of you who are serious about outside Christmas light decor - please pm me if you would like to purchase some things for your inventory. Grady would have loved for me to continue it somehow, but he would have also known I couldn't physically or mentally handle the weeks and months it would take to do it all. I would help him pick out the music but he did all the programming and set up. I will miss seeing everyone driving by this year. It will be weird to not have to dodge cars to pull in the driveway during December.

I found a pink toboggan out near the road this morning. I put it on the brick tiles near the mailbox. Let me know if you dropped it, and I will keep it safe for you until you can stop by again. (Or mail it to you)
