✨ Meet your 2026 Fair Marshals! ✨
Darrell and Beryl Wagner are the definition of Logan County Fair tradition. Born and raised right here, their fair story spans generations and decades of dedication.
Their journey began with Darrell showing animals in FFA and Beryl proudly serving as a Rodeo Attendant. After Darrell returned home from Vietnam, they married and continued building their life around the fair; from showing horses in AQHA shows, to helping start the county roping by furnishing cattle, to competing themselves Darrell in roping, Beryl in barrel racing.
Darrell later served many years on the fair board, including the indoor barn committee, while together they supported the kids rodeo; a tradition they still proudly help with today. Outside the fairgrounds, Darrell ranched and Beryl worked at the Logan County Courthouse, raising horses and Corriente cattle while passing their love of agriculture and community down to their family.
That legacy continues through their children and grandchildren; Jay, Laura, and Dylan Wagner, and Chip, Tami, Carli, and Cade Bruegman; including the year Tami was crowned Logan County Fair Queen, and now their grandson Dylan, along with many horses, compete, win, and learn lifelong lessons. Today, they still give back by donating awards to the horse show and cheering on the next generation.

Some of their favorite memories include watching their children and friends compete, Darrell carrying the American flag during the PRCA rodeo while being honored for his service, and an unforgettable night show featuring Reba; a moment that put small-town magic on full display.
Their advice to all fairgoers: Work hard, enjoy what you do, and always do your best.
And if they had to sum up the fair in just three words?
