2025 7th annual OFA Breeder Health Clinic
November 7-8, 2025 in Stephenville Texas. Location will be between Hampton Inn and HTeaO (same location as last year.)
For those who have previously been to our clinics, the process is the same with the following costs, for those who pre-registered by October 25, 2025 (additional fees apply for day of or late registration):
2025 Breeder Clinic pre-reg pricing:
$100 Hip Radiograph
$100 Elbow Radiograph set
$100 Trachea Radiograph
$200+ Spine Radiograph set (depends on number of radiographs needed to get all of the views needed)
$20 Luxating Patella exam
$20 Basic Cardiac exam
$20 Dental count
$100 BAER testing
$20/owner to e-mail or burn a CD of the radiograph images of your dogs taken at the clinic (or bring a flash drive to get the file immediately!)~
$20+ large dog fee ($20/25 lbs over 50 lbs) applies only to radiographs 1x per dog
$10/dog/test late fee^
****Other radiograph and soft tissues exams can be done on a case by case bases***
~You can see the radiographs on a 45 inch TV inside the camper we use. You can take a picture of the radiograph for free during your exam!
Like previous clinics, we will submit your OFA papers for you. If you would rather send them in yourself (excluding any radiographs we take), please let us know so we can finish the forms on site. The OFA office has been taking 2-4 weeks to EMAIL results out to the address on your form. If you have not received your results after 4 weeks, check your junk folder and/or call the OFA office directly.
Please remember, we do NOT work FOR the OFA office. This is a veterinary service we provide to you. As soon as we mail the forms in, it is no longer in our hands. We can not speed up results getting to you.
We have had a few issues where an owner will call the OFA office asking about their results to be told that they were never sent in by the veterinarian. This has NEVER been the case with our clinics. We try our hardest to get the forms to the OFA office within 7 days of our clinics (the box takes 3 days via tracking priority mail to get to Columbia, Missouri). It then takes a few weeks (sometimes longer) for them to scan the forms into their system and get the results to the owner via EMAIL. The email result process has made this process more complicated for owners as it typically goes to the spam folder of the e-mail address you provided on your forms.
To reserve your spot(s), please complete the following for EACH dog you would like to test.
1. Fill the desired OFA test application(s)-hip/elbows (one form), Legg-Cathe-Perthes, basic cardiac, patella, trachea, spine, etc and mail/e-mail me the form(s). I will print the forms and have them with me for your reservation. You can leave the veterinarian information blank and I will fill that out or you can fill out the forms on the OFA website. If you use Brandon's phone number (785-541-0869), the website will pre-populate his information into your PDF downloadable form. These are not automatically sent to us! You must e-mail the PDF file to me. Find the correct forms at: https://www.ofa.org/application-forms ^For any forms that are not sent to me before October 25, 2025, a $10/dog late fee will be assessed. Our clinics go smoother when we have your dogs already in our system.
2. Send in a $20/dog deposit. This $20 will be applied to your final bill but is non-refundable if you decide to cancel/no show on the day of. It can be paid by:
-via PayPal to [email protected] the friends/family to avoid paying a processing fee.
-via Venmo to -Sinn -->make sure you send it to the Sinn with 2 "N"s as the other one will NOT refund money sent to him!

-Running your credit card through our Square account (small processing fee).
By doing all of the paperwork before the event, we can have you and your animals’ information already in our computer! This makes the reservation go smoother and quicker.
After I receive the above information, we will discuss what time frame you would like to come. We will start around 11 am Friday and go until appointments are over. For Saturday, we will start around 8 am and fill the morning first. After the morning is filled, we will go into the afternoon and continue until the appointments are done. We like to educate breeders about what Dr. Sinn finds during the exams and answer questions you may have. Please be courteous to us and to the other owners during the clinic.
Please note that you will need to make TWO different payments during this clinic. One will be for the veterinary services Dr. Sinn performs and the other will be for the OFA submission fees. You can do cash (preferred), check, credit card (processing fee), PayPal or Venmo for your vet service fees. We will attach your OFA payment (check only) to the forms when we send them in or if you write down your credit card information, they (OFA) will run them when they process your forms. It will take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to get your results back from the OFA office. You WILL delay your results if you do not attach payment to your OFA forms! This can add an additional 4 week delay to your results. OFA prefers to have payment with the forms.
I know this is a lot to take in. We have learned a lot about hosting these clinics over the past few years and hope that we can translate that to you. Also keep in mind this is not my full time job so if I take a few hours (or days) to get back to you, I'm not ignoring you, I'm just busy chasing our 3 boys around or working at my other job. 🙂
BAER testing information: While BAER testing, you (the owner) have to be able to hold your dog’s head completely still during the entire process. There will be three needles put into the dog’s head (one on the crown between the ears and one in the skin in front of each ear) and a small ear probe placed inside the ear we are testing. If the dog’s head cannot be held completely still with the needles through the skin, while we run a test on both sides, it will do no good. We put this out there so people understand what exactly happens during BAER testing. If we attempt to do the testing, but are unable to complete it due to you not being able to hold the dog’s head still, a soft tissue exam fee ($25) will be added to your vet services bill.
