Summer race days are coming!! Let's get those plans made and join us for a great time. New this year we will have a shower station at the start/finish line to rinse off all of the sweat and grime from those hot summer miles on the trails. We can't wait to see you there!!

Anyone looking for a good run for a cause, join us on Tuesday June 2 for the Special Olympics Torch Run. Run starts at 8AM from the downtown mall in Wi******er. Will go to Kernstown for about 4.5 miles. Some of us will be going all the way to Strasburg for about 16 miles. Transportation back to the start will be provided. Use the link to sign up.

Together we will raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Virginia athletes throughout the Commonwealth.

That’s a wrap for the SPEAR summer series! It was a great summer full of great efforts. So many of you stepped out of your comfort zones and created a great memory for yourself. Thank you to our incredible volunteers that helped this year. We can’t do it as good without you. We are less than 24 hours from the end of the season and Jon and I have already started the planning for next year. Stay tuned for new things that will be added to next year. This years races benefited the Area 13 Special Olympics and the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center. Your participation raised $850 for Special Olympics and $3000 for BRWC. Thank you again for your participation and we hope to see you all again next year.

Our race leaders are heading out for their final lap! It’s gonna be a tight one. Jason Hinerman and Mike Cahak are running really great races. The heat has picked up and things are getting sweaty.
