While our spring semester may be wrapped up, our students are still engaging in scholarship and performance! Join directors and rising second year MLitt students Siena Maxwell and Cailyn Mickelsen and a full cast of S&P students for a staged reading of Edward Dering’s 1623 Henry IV adaptation on Monday, May 25th, at the Blackfriars Playhouse at 7:30 PM! This performance and short dramaturgical conversation will attempt to investigate the line between amateur and professional and the role of adaptation in early modern performance and authorship. Tickets are free and first-come, first-served!
