Queen City Mischief & Magic September 26-27, 2026 Wizards and Muggles from near and far descend upon Staunton, Virginia for the annual Queen City Mischief & Magic.
(260)

With a touch of wizardry, the historic downtown is transformed into the village of Hogsmeade. Local businesses reinvent themselves offering magically-themed shopping, dining and hands-on activities for all ages. “Potterheads” can experiment with potions, enjoy butter brew or try their hand at wild beast taming. Visitors are greeted by Norberta the Dragon, and selfies and costumes are encouraged. Unlock Saunton's secrets of using our Mischief & Magic Map. Explore our walkable downtown during our interactive, entertaining and family-friendly festival. We're so glad you're here.
