🔥DAY TWO: THE STREET CAME ALIVE 🔥 ✨
Yesterday was packed with art, music, and community. We started in with intimate concerts and workshops: DM Lane’s .m.lane scattered atmospheres, Juan Castrillón’s .el.ibrahim installations, a deep dive into Moondog with Trimbtych .trimba. Amok & OK provided the sonic bridge as we emerged onto East End Social
And the street was already alive! Our neighbors of all ages showed up, families with small children and elders. We all became one. Fez got us started, a few people dancing. Paolo Angeli took us to the Mediterranean and it was exactly the breath we needed before Los Cumpleaños set us off to dance with Colombian cumbia. Our bodies were moving, the energy was rising... Then Loboko arrived and we mean EVERYONE was dancing. Their Congolese soukous brought us pure, unstoppable joy.
Some of us even returned to Manny’s for a couple more hours with DJ Modrums .music spinning the best Latin American heat into the night. The floor was dancing.
This is Rhoneymeade. This is what happens when we gather. And, today, we continue. All day long at the Rhoneymeade Arboretum. The artists are ready. The community is here. Are you? 🌊🎶✨
