Food distribution Nov 8th in Starr.
To our church family and community friends next Saturday, November 8th Shiloh will host a food distribution. Let’s take the time in this season of giving to show our love and support for those in our community who are in need. Here are the details for the day…
🌟We will meet at the church at 10 to begin setting up and organizing the food donations and will plan to distribute from 12-2pm.
🌟We will also need to make deliveries to some families in the area. If you are willing and able to make deliveries, please let myself or Kalyna McGee know.
🌟We are in need of a large sign to post at the church so passersby will know about the event ahead of time. A few other signs in the area would also be a great idea. If you can help with making or posting signs, we can add you to that list. Many hands make light work!
💥Donations:💥
Non perishable food donations can be brought to the church. You can also reach out to Kalyna McGee or Katie Baxter to drop off at their homes. We can send addresses if needed. Donations can also be brought to the church on Saturday morning. If you’d prefer to make a monetary donation, that is also appreciated and we will do the shopping for you! You can send those donations by Venmo to -mcgee
Many monetary donations have come in and we will have a shopping day on Friday to purchase perishables such as milk, meat, eggs, etc. We are forever appreciative of any and all donations, physical and monetary.
We understand this short timeframe may be SWIFT but the need for many affected by the SNAP halt is URGENT. Let’s all come together to provide what we can.
See below for a list of donation suggestions that aren’t typically thought of for those who may want some ideas. *Keep in mind that without perishable items, some non perishables cannot be used.
Please share the info not only for donations but with anyone who may need to take advantage of the available food.
❤️Thank you in advance for your willingness to help! And thank you to Pastor John for always being gracious with his prayers and blessings for giving events at Shiloh❤️
