Well folks… it’s taken us about a month after race day, but we finally have all of the 2026 Earth Day 5K & Fun Run results and award winners organized! 🌎🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💚

A huge congratulations to everyone who participated, volunteered, cheered runners on, and helped make this event such a joyful community celebration. We loved seeing so many smiling faces out on the trail!

🏅 If your name is listed below and you did NOT pick up your race medal, you can stop by Catskills Junction to claim it:

📍 Friday & Saturday: 11 AM – 4 PM
📍 Sunday: 12 PM – 4 PM

Donna will have your name on the pickup list waiting for you!

While you’re there, take some time to browse her adorable shop and chat with her about your outdoor adventures and goals. Catskills Junction is such a special community hub located just off the Catskill Scenic Trail and serves as headquarters for the Friends of the Catskill Scenic Trail. It’s a wonderful place to learn about local trails, outdoor recreation, upcoming events, and all the beautiful happenings in our area.

What a great way to get summer ready!

On Saturday, May 30th, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, we will be hosting a Bike Rodeo with AAA to teach students about bike safety and share helpful bike riding tips. Attached, you will find an information packet with additional details about the event.

We are currently working on securing a Safe Child ID station with a local Sheriff’s Department to provide an additional safety resource for families. We will also be hosting a raffle for helmets and other fun prizes, and light refreshments will be provided.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with activity stations throughout the event. If you are interested in volunteering, please send Mrs. Wiltsie a ParentSquare message. Your support is greatly appreciated and will help make this a fun and successful event.

When we say we get by with a little help from our friends: Wayne Bank stepped up and shared a bit of joy during our Stamford Earthday 5K and Fun Run providing drinks, smiles, and cheer! Thank you for being part of our great day!!!

Wayne Bank was proud to support the Earth Day 5K in Stamford by hosting a water station for participants along the course!
