Now that was a fun day. 🎉🙌

The BOMA St. Louis, IREM St. Louis, and IFMA St. Louis Expo brought the energy, and these photos capture so much of what made the day special.

You could feel the 20-year celebration all around the room. The glowing EXPO letters set the tone, and exhibitors really leaned into the moment with creative booths, fun themes, giveaways, and great conversation from start to finish.

We loved seeing booths from St. Louis Cleaning & Restoration, GardaWorld Security Services, Full Care, Royal Papers Facility Solutions, Swinter Group, Harris Consulting Engineering, Buildingstars Commercial Cleaning Solutions, Ascent Elevators, Western Specialty Contractors, Woodard, SERVPRO Team Thole/Hulsey, McConnell & Associates, Midwest Elevator, and Hughes Customat Mats. There was so much personality in the room, and that made it even more fun to walk through and connect.

That’s one of the best things about this event. It brings together people who know this industry, care about this market, and show up ready to build relationships. This is the kind of story that reminds you how much access matters. 💚

Maya Ramirez was at a crossroads in her career. She knew she wanted to grow. She wanted to learn more, open new doors, and earn her CPM. But with her employer only paying for one educational class a year, that dream was looking like an eight plus year climb.

Then she received a Donald M. Furbush, CPM Scholarship through the IREM Foundation, and everything changed.

With that support, Maya was able to earn her CPM in just three years. Even more incredible, she shared that she’s seen a 70 percent increase in compensation tied directly to that journey. That’s not just career growth. That’s life changing momentum. 🙌

And now she’s paying it forward. Maya’s a leader in her local chapter and hopes to work with universities and students to help more people discover IREM and everything the Foundation makes possible.

to October 9, 2013 and an IREM St. Louis lunch that feels especially fun to revisit now. 📱✨

Back then, the topic was Social Media 101. A room full of members gathered over lunch, notebooks open, learning how social media could enhance business and professional connection. Looking at these photos now, it’s hard not to smile a little. What was “101” then is just part of how we all communicate today.

That’s what makes this throwback so good. It’s not just a snapshot of an event. It’s a reminder that our chapter has always been willing to learn, adapt, and lean into what’s next.
