Let's take the time to congratulate my daughter, Mikeysa, as she received notification and accepted a new position as a Veteran Service Representative (VSR) within the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Los Angeles Regional Office on the evening of August 28, 2026. Her offical career with the VA started in July of 2023 when she graduated with her bachelor's degree from American Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and accepted a remote postion as a Legal Administrative Specialist (LAS) within the VA Phoenix AZ Regional office. Mikeysa esteemed job ethics and work performance with the VA while continuing to pursue her career in the entertainment business excelled her to the top of her team and division resulting in this amazing promotion and opportunity all while continuing to advance as a struggling artist living in LA.
This promotion while well deserved will no longer allow her to work from home as she will be required to report in office daily. Whlie working from home gave her the benefit of reduced transportation cost she took advantage of uber and ride shares for acting auditions. Due to the new daily commute, she would stuggle to maintain the added cost of commuting to the local office for work.
Mikeysa's childhood car, which she passionately named "Black Cindy" made the journey with her to LA but is very ill and needs reviving. "Black Cindy" is planned to be her means of transportation. "Black Cindy" was gifted to her as her from her parents and with the unexpected lost of her dad in 2025 she solemnly plans to keep "Black Cindy" around to ensure her dad is riding along with her though her journey to becoming the artist they both knew she would be.
I am asking (because she will not) that if you (as family and friends) can help Mikeysa get "Black Cindy" the care she needs to recover from her illnesses. Although the true cost is unknown to me at this time any amount of donation will help. I know that as Mikeysa Powell continues growing in her faith, as an active member of Christ Temple Family Church (CTFC) located here in Saint Louis, MO under Pastor Cornell "Nick" Nichols she remains steadfast in her fight as a struggling actress and taking on this new career change she continues to make her dad proud.
Her official report date is September 21, 2026. If possible, help me gift her this gift as a worry-free transition to her goals.
I have created this CashApp pool for "Black Cindy" feel free to donate and/or congratulate Mikeysa on her continuing success ππ½.
