However, for those of you entering at check-in Friday 3-5pm - below is all the important information you will need to know whether you are a competitor or spectator for this year's 2021 NPC PINK Muscle FEST! This post is VERY lengthy, contains everything you need to know from check-in to tanning to tickets - so please read!
NO MASKING IS REQUIRED THIS YEAR (However, if you feel more comfortable wearing one, please feel free to do so) - THE PRIMARY RESTRICTION IS REGARDING PUMP UP EQUIPMENT - TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH HYGIENE POLICIES - WE ASK THAT YOU BRING YOUR OWN PUMP UP BANDS.
MANDATORY COMPETITOR CHECK IN – ALL COMPETITORS IN ALL CLASSES MUST ATTEND!!
On Friday, October 15, 2021, the Mandatory Competitor Check-in/Weigh-in will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m at the Springfield Expo Center, MO. ALL competitors in ALL classes must attend this weigh-in/check-in – there is NO Saturday check-in/weigh-in. Please note – this check-in is a “rolling check-in” – once you have purchased your NPC, checked-in and received instructions for the Saturday morning competitor meeting – you are free to go – you do not have to stay for the entire 3pm-5pm time block! **ALL COMPETITOR NUMBERS WILL BE HANDED OUT FRIDAY AT CHECKIN - THERE IS ONLY 1 SET OF NUMBERS AND THIS IS THE ATHLETE'S ENTRANCE TO THE EVENT SO PLEASE DO NOT LOSE THEM!!!!!!!**
**ALL BODYBUILDERS & CLASSIC MEN’S PHYSIQUE: Please wear posing suits under your clothing as you will be weighed in with your suits!
**ALL PHYSIQUE (Men & Women), FIGURE, WELLNESS & BIKINI COMPETITORS: Please bring your suits for inspection when you are measured!
**ALL COMPETITORS WITH ROUTINES (Bodybuilders, Women’s Physique & Fitness Competitors: If you did not submit a music file during your registration process, you can email Bryan at: [email protected] , prior to the check-in - or bring your music cd to Bryan at checkin Friday. Acceptable format is mp3. PLEASE HAVE YOUR MUSIC READY – DO NOT ASK BRYAN TO DOWNLOAD YOUTUBE VIDEOS OR MUSIC LINKS!!!! We do ask; however, that you still bring CD’s to the check-in as a precautionary back up! If you have questions on the format of your CD – PLEASE email Bryan!
**If you are competing in both Men’s Bodybuilding and Classic Men’s Physique, you do have the option to pose at the evening finals in both categories – however, you must have 2 (two) separate routines – 1 for bodybuilding and 1 for classic since they are 2 different categories with different poses.
MEN’S PHYSIQUE, FIGURE, WELLNESS & BIKINI CATEGORIES: Please note, these classes will all perform model walks, presentations, and turns to “house music” you do not need to bring music.
ADDING CLASSES: If you have entered the show previously to the Mandatory Check-in, you may add classes without having to pay a late fee – you just need to pay for the additional class or classes you wish to add. Please note – adding classes is only allowed on Friday, October 5 (and is payable by Cash Only please) – classes cannot be added the day of the show. Thank you.
NPC CARDS – MAY BE PURCHASED ONLINE OR AT THE MANDATORY CHECK-IN:
At this point in time, if you do not already have a 2021 NPC Membership Card, you may purchase your card by going to our MuscleMayhem . com website – click on “The NPC” – it will take you directly to the NPC Page to purchase your NPC card online. Please make certain that if you have purchased your card online that you either print out or have your receipt on your phone to show us at the Mandatory Check-in – OR - NPC Cards will also be available for purchase for $135.00 at the Mandatory check-in on Friday, October 15 between 3-5 p.m. at the Springfield Expo Center. Before getting in line to either measure or weigh-in, please purchase your NPC Card first. When you purchase your card at the check-in, you will receive a yellow receipt – please keep this receipt as it can be used as your card until you receive your actual card in the mail.
**If you already have your 2021 NPC Card, you must bring it with you to the check-in!!! You will be asked to show it prior to being measured or weighed in – if you have purchased your NPC card at a recent event but have not yet received your card in the mail – please bring your “yellow” receipt with you.
SATURDAY MORNING COMPETITOR MEETING INFORMATION & SHOW TIMES: On Saturday, October 16, all competitors should be at the Springfield Expo Center no later than 8:30 a.m. – at that time we will have the competitor meeting, go over the order of events, mandatory poses, model walks, and answer any questions you may have at that time.
Pre-judging and Evening Finals Show Times: The pre-judging will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and the evening finals will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. – we urge all competitors to be back for the evening show by 5:30 p.m.
TICKET INFORMATION:
As a competitor in this event, your number badge allows you free entry into the event and total event access; however, if your friends and/or family members are still in need of show tickets, please direct them to our MuscleMayhem . com website to order their PINK tickets directly online! Plenty of great seats (including Reserved Evening Finals tickets) are still available. Online ticket sales will end on Wednesday evening (October 13). Tickets will go back on sale on Saturday, October 16, beginning at 9:00a.m. at the Springfield Expo Center! Ticket prices are Prejudging: $30.00; and evening Finals tickets are: $45 All General Admission - There are also a few VIP Tickets still available - $100.00 **Children 3 and under (lap children) will not need a ticket, all children 4 and older will need to purchase a ticket. Please note – ONLY Cash will be accepted to purchase tickets on Saturday, October 16. With our special guest poser - 2-Time Mr. Olympia, Big Ramy - tickets are selling fast- be sure to order soon!
TANNING, HAIR & MAKEUP:
As always, our strict rules will apply regarding all tanning products and oil. Your tan must be applied and finished prior to coming to the event venue and oil is allowed in the convention center but may only be applied in the designated area. Additionally, NO tanning products will be allowed in the venue and only approved tanning products can be used – The Product DREAM TAN will NOT be allowed under any circumstances – period! If you have any questions regarding approved tanning products, please contact us – or to help make your final preparation easier, our official event tanners GoldSol will be on hand to cater to all your tanning and touch up needs – they will be the only tanners at the venue and backstage! Nicole and her staff do an excellent job and are currently booking appointments for the show – to book your appointment, please go to: MuscleMayhem . com - click on PINKMuscleFEST and on the contest info page – just click on the GoldSol Logo to go directly to their appointment booking page. LADIES – Nicole and her team are also booking appointments for all your hair & makeup needs as well and you can book your appointments for these services as well, directly on their site!
PHOTOGRAPHY:
Our event photographer, Doug Jantz, will be taking ‘on stage’ photos. Doug does a fantastic job and we are happy to have him join the 2021 PINKMuscleFEST! Doug will also have order forms available at the check-in on Friday, October 15, as well as at the event on Saturday, October 16.
MISCELANEOUS COMPETITOR INFORMATION:
All athletes in all classes will pose and be presented at the evening event and all athletes competing in the pre-judging must return for the evening finals. Due to NPC rules and liability, ONLY NPC athletes competing in this event and official event staff will be allowed backstage! There will be plenty of expediters and NPC staff backstage to assist you with your final preparation before taking to the stage! We will, however; have “backstage passes” available for $100.00 each (CASH ONLY)- for trainers and coaches who are interested in being in the pump up area to assist their athletes – these can be purchased at the Friday (October 15) Mandatory weigh-in/check-in from 3:00p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Springfield Expo Center and Saturday morning prior to the pre-judging at the Expo Center on October 16. PLEASE NOTE – THERE ARE ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF BACKSTAGE PASSES AVAILABLE FOR SALE AND THEY WILL BE SOLD ON A FIRST COME/FIRST SERVE BASIS!
