Mark your calendars for the 16th Annual Springfield Oyster & Beer Festival on September 5th | 11 to 4 at the Ansar Shrine Center

It was a casual conversation between a few local Springfield business owners, who then realized that, with a little bit of teamwork, they could make it happen. The organizers simply wanted to bring a quality beer fest to Springfield,support Midwest craft brewers and have a good time! In addition, they decided to donate all profits to a local Springfield or Sangamon County charities. The

first Springfield Oyster and Beer Festival, held September 11, 2010, was a great success and so much fun they decided to do it again (and again)! The SOB Festival is held in the parking lot of The Inn at 835. Rain or shine, we invite you to join us for excellent craft beer, great food, first-rate entertainment, and to help us support our community.

Ansar Shriners is proud to host this next chapter at their historic Ansar Shrine Center, keeping the energy, the oysters, the breweries, and the Feztival spirit alive.
