💕 Remembering Our Dear Friend Connie 💕

Today, we said goodbye to a very special lady and dear friend of Shawn’s Sewing Center.

Connie was more than a familiar face in our sewing community; she was a friend, and someone we will remember with so much love and affection.

Our hearts are with her family and her dear sister patti, and everyone who was fortunate enough to know and love her.

The friendships we make through our love of sewing are truly something special, and Connie will always hold a place in our hearts.

Rest peacefully, sweet Connie. You will be dearly missed. 💕🕊️

A Little Slow Stitching, A Lot of Fun! 🧵💕

Yesterday’s Slow Stitch class with Donna was an absolute delight!

Sometimes the best thing we can do is slow down, pick up a needle and thread, and simply enjoy the creative process. And that’s exactly what we did!

From sweet little wool coats to beautiful vintage lace, buttons, fabric scraps, and hand-stitched details, everyone added their own personality to their projects. So many creative ideas around one table!

A big thank you to Donna for another fabulous class and to all our lovely ladies who joined us!

Merry Little Christmas is returning, and we’ve now received the go-ahead to take pre-orders at Shawn’s Sewing Center! ✨

Those beautiful vintage prints, cozy reds, soft blues and lovely greens are coming back in fat quarter bundles AND half-yard bundles! A little Christmas sewing… or a whole lot? We support both! 🎁

Expected to arrive in July 2027—so you can start dreaming up next year’s Christmas quilts and handmade gifts!
