With great sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Anthony Marangoudakis at 75 years young . "Adoni" was a lifetime member who served on the council of the Springfield Cretans Association in the early 70s. "Tony" was an unlimited source of high energy which he channeled into his many talents. Adoni truly poured all of his passion into anything he did. In this way he was great example to us all. He was well known for his wisdom and his generosity. Above all he was a great husband, father and family man. Tony loved to spend his time at the club. He was truly a friend to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed. Our Sincere condolences to his wife of 44 years, Niki (Papalionakis), to his sons Spiro and George and his daughter Chrisoula and her husband Jason Abrams and to his two granddaughters. Sincere condolences also to his brother Christo and his wife Maria in Skines Crete, To his sister Effie and her husband Nick Peroulakis and to his brother Carl Marangoudakis and his wife Maria, to his brother-in-law Stavros Papalionakis and his wife Kathy and to his many cousins and nieces and nephews and their children. Mr. Anthony Marangoudakis will Lie in Repose on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 2320 Main Street, Springfield, MA 01107. His burial will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery, 426 Bay Street, Springfield, MA 01109. There are no visiting hours at the funeral home. His funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield MA 01107
