Please remember that admission to the 2026 Artisan Market is free. The Girl Scouts of Central Illinois will be collecting items and monetary donations for the Central Illinois Food Bank in lieu of an admission fee. 1-2 items or $1 per person is suggested, but not necessary, to enter. See below for the Donation Wish List and some quick facts about the Central Illinois Foodbank.

The amount of scammers on our event is overwhelming! We delete several each and every day by blocking them and reporting them to Facebook. Many artists and artisans have told me that they have been scammed in the past. Here are some things you can look out for on our page and event.

1. The Annual Artisan Market never refers to our artists and artisans as vendors. You are much more than that! Whether you are a skilled craftsman, a creative writer, a paintbrush wielding baddy...you are NOT a vendor. You are an artist sharing your works with the world. If you see a comment referring to "we have space for more vendors", or "vendors wanted" it is a scam.

2. Watch for poor grammar, misspellings and lack of punctuation.

3. Beware of accounts that have no posts, very few followers, and have been reported.

4. If it is not a post by the Annual Artisan Market page, 2026 Artisan Market event , Laurie Janine Pullen or Jessie Grogan, it is not real!

5. Do not engage with the fake posts. Block them and report them to us. We check our page several times a day, but some may slip through.
