🌧️ EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER 🌧️

We are disappointed to announce that tonight’s Music & Movies in the Park event—Thursday, September 3—has been postponed due to forecasted heavy thunderstorms.

For the safety and comfort of our spectators, musician Jenny Slyder, our volunteers, and our equipment, as well as, the respect for our musicians' time, we believe postponing at this time is the best decision.

But have no fear—we hope Jenny will be back soon, and The Goonies will absolutely make it to the big screen because…

🎬 “Goonies never say die!”

Please watch for our rescheduled date! In the meantime, enjoy the other amazing events happening this weekend and show some love to Grilled & Konfuzed , who prepared a fantastic menu and plenty of snacks for tonight. Visit them Friday, September 4, in front of the Springerville Heritage Center! 🌮🍔

🍂🎄 CALLING ALL COMMUNITY CREATORS! 🎄🍂

We need your help bringing seasonal fun to Springerville! Participation is FREE and open to everyone—businesses, community organizations, school groups and classes, families, and individuals! All are welcome - Springerville, Eagar, Greer, Alpine, etc.!

🍁 HELP DECORATE THE HAY BALES!

When the hay bales begin lining our streets, claim an undecorated bale and let your creativity shine!

🏆 Community judging will be open through October 10.
📅 Decorations may remain on display until November 13.
⚠️ All decorations must be removed and picked up no later than November 13.

🏠 COMING IN NOVEMBER: DECK THE HALLS OF THE MUSEUM!

Help us fill the Springerville Heritage Center with holiday cheer by creating and displaying your own gingerbread creation!

📅 Display dates: November 23–January 9
🗳️ Public voting: November 30–December 15
⚠️ Gingerbread creations must be picked up no later than January 6.

Need a convenient place to build your gingerbread creation? We are offering the Udall Meeting Room inside the Heritage Center, complete with a sink for easy cleanup!

✨ Join one event—or participate in both!
✨ All ages and skill levels are welcome!
✨ Registration is FREE!

Mark your calendars—you won’t want to miss these three jam-packed days of learning, history, music, movies, food and family fun!

**Beekeeper Greg is back!**

Did you miss the last talk? Do you have more questions you’ve been wanting to ask? Join Greg of **Sasquatch Honey Bees** at the Springerville Heritage Center for an informative and entertaining presentation about local beekeeping.

**FREE Casa Malpais Open House**

Meet us at the Heritage Center, where a shuttle will transport you to the **Casa Malpais National Historic Landmark**. Take a unique guided tour of the ancient pueblo, then visit with local archaeologist **Lary** and learn more about this incredible place right in our own backyard!

🚐 Shuttles begin at 9:00 AM
🚐 Last shuttle leaves the Heritage Center at 12:30 PM

Please note:

* This tour follows the regular rocky hiking trail.
* Closed-toe shoes are required.
* The trail is not accessible for individuals with mobility limitations.
* Only certified service animals are permitted at the site.

**Kick Off Labor Day Weekend with Music & Movies in the Park!**
