With the weekend behind us now, we wanted to take a minute and say a few words about the 2nd Annual Musser Memorial Dart Tournament. To start things off, we want to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you that made this event as successful as it was! The tournament consisted of 17 “3-man teams” with many familiar faces who compete in Centre County and Clinton County Dart Leagues. Congratulations to the top three place winners who are pictured below! Talk about some very talented dart shooters! The silent auction was a big hit, with 109 baskets/items up for bid! We can’t put into words how amazing the Penns Valley and surrounding communities are! Without your generosity and support, our mission to support local youth athletes and youth organizations would not be possible! And as always, a very special thank you to Kelli Musser and the Frosty Hook family for helping us put this event together and making sure daily operations ran smoothly! Talk about a weekend full of great people, great food and heartfelt support for a great cause! Hope to see y’all next year!🎯🍻

LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN!! We are 10 days out from the 2nd Annual Musser Memorial Dart Tournament!! We still have spots for a few more teams and would love to see them filled. The registration deadline for teams has been extended until March 20th! Please contact Bradley Musser (814)404-4129 or Lucas Sharer (814)380-0128 to reserve your team’s spot. Doors will open at 7am… the sooner everyone arrives the sooner darts fly! We are still seeking items/baskets for the silent auction and are extremely greatful for all of the donations we have received so far! See y’all soon!🎯🍻

We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Musser Memorial Dart Tournament will be taking place on March 22, 2025. We are hoping for an even greater turnout this year as we took away a lot of valuable input from participants last year on how we can better the event. Our success last year could not have been achieved without the support shown by the community! If throwing darts isn’t your thing but you would still like to show support, a donation jar can be found on the bar at the Frosty Hook! We are also looking for donations to be raffled off during our silent auction. Any donation, big or small is greatly appreciated. All proceeds will benefit local youth sports organizations and Penns Valley senior athletic scholarships!

As the weekend slowly comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment and reflect on the past few days. We want to start off by saying THANK YOU to everyone who made yesterday’s tournament an absolute success! We are beyond grateful and appreciative for the support shown by the community. We managaged to work through a 19 team bracket over the course of the day with the top three teams posing in the pictures below. Congrats to these gentlemen for shooting competitively throughout the tournament . A special thank you is in order for Kelli Musser and the Frosty Hook staff for working their magic to keep up with the abundance of dart shooters and spectators who came out to show their support. For being the 1st Annual Musser Memorial Dart Tournament, we walk away with a lot of memomories, laughs, and knowledge about how we can improve future tournaments. Stay tuned as we plan to make this event even bigger and better next year!🎯

In memory of Bob and Bobby Musser, the Frosty Hook #2 Dart Team is hosting the 1st Annual Musser Memorial Dart Tournament on February 17, 2024 at 9am. This event is going to support two scholarships for PVHS senior athletes who plan on furthering their academic career through college or a trade school. For those of you who have frequented a PVHS sporting event in the past, I’m sure you’ve crossed paths at some point with Bob or Bobby Musser. Their love and support for the PVHS athletic programs was unmatched. Through the Musser Memorial Dart Tournament, we hope to carry on their legacy by providing scholarships to a senior athlete from the volleyball and baseball programs. The tournament will consist of “3-person” teams with a 75% handicap. A 25 team limit has been set, early registration is required by February 14th. Along with the tournament, a silent auction will also be set up with all proceeds going towards the scholarships as well. If you would like to make a monetary donation to support the scholarships, a jar has been placed on the bar at the Frosty Hook. If you are interested in donating an item or basket for the silent auction, drop offs can be made at the Frosty Hook. You can contact Bradley Musser “(814)404-4129” or Lucas Sharer “(814)380-0128” with any questions or to register your team . This is a cash only event, there is an ATM on site. We greatly appreciate the support and generosity shown by the community, we are hoping for a great turnout with a day full of competitive fun.
