📋 4-H EXHIBITORS:
Exhibitors qualifying for the 2026 VA State 4-H Horse & Pony Show must register at the show, complete required paperwork, and pay applicable 4-H fees separately from SSF show fees. Skills testing will be available at both June & July events

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this Saturday’s show (May 23) due to the significant rain expected Friday and Saturday.

While we truly need the rain, we were certainly hoping it would hold off until after the weekend! However, the safety and experience of our riders, horses, and spectators always come first.

This decision was not made lightly. With the anticipated weather conditions, we want to avoid unsafe footing, wet arena conditions, and the possibility of vehicles getting stuck or damage being done to the pastures. Most importantly, we never want our exhibitors or horses to have a poor or unsafe experience at one of our events.

Looking ahead, the June Doswell show is now live on RingRadar! Please be sure to pre-enter and reserve your stall as soon as possible if needed. The tagged Doswell show post on our page includes all forms, information, and details for the event. We’ve also added a few extra classes that we don’t typically offer at our home shows, so be sure to check those out!

A week late posting… the kids had a great time at the 2026 Fredericksburg Area 4-H/FFA Show & Sale last Friday & Saturday!
Our homebred goaties showed respectively in their classes, even winning a couple! Mallory & Anson have their homework to do between now and next years show and sale! 💪🍀⭐️ Mallory also placed 3rd out of all the Intermediate exhibitors in th Stockman’s contest.
Plot twist the Buyer that bought both of Mallory’s & Anson’s goats ended up gifting them back to the kids and all 6 4-H project goats got to come home Saturday night 💚💚💚💚💚💚 Forever grateful to Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg and their support of the 4-H/FFA program! (Last photo is of all 6 goaties this AM at home). Mallory has expressed interest in showing one of her wethers at the Caroline County Fair next month, stay tuned!!
