Spokane Renaissance Faire

08/07/2026

One of the most amazing things about the Spokane Renaissance Faire is not the faire itself, its the community behind it.

This year, that community needs us.

The recent wildfires have forever changed the lives of hundreds of families across our region. Even as firefighters continue their incredible work, many families are already facing the long journey of rebuilding.

As a nonprofit organization, giving back has always been part of who we are. Last year, the Spokane Entertainers Guild donated more than $18,500 to organizations supporting hunger relief, local theatre programs, and disaster recovery efforts. This year, our charitable giving will be dedicated to local wildfire recovery.

If you're joining us at the Spokane Renaissance Faire this year, thank you. Your support helps us continue giving back to our community. If you're able to do even more, we've created an opportunity to donate directly to local wildfire recovery efforts.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference for the people who need it most.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating wildfires across our region.

To the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, public works crews, emergency managers, and the countless volunteers working around the clock to protect our communities, thank you. Your courage, dedication, and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed, and we are deeply grateful for everything you're doing.

We also want to acknowledge the families who have lost homes, those who have been forced to evacuate, and everyone facing uncertainty in the days ahead. Please know that we stand with you.

Spokane has always been a community that comes together when it matters most. We have no doubt that, through compassion, generosity, and determination, we will support one another through this difficult time and come back stronger than ever.

Please stay safe, continue to follow evacuation orders and guidance from local officials, and keep everyone affected in your thoughts. Together, we'll get through this.

For most guests, the Spokane Renaissance Faire is a weekend they'll remember all year.

For our volunteers, it's something even more special.

It's the friendships made while setting up before the gates open. It's celebrating together after a long day. It's watching thousands of guests laugh, explore, and make memories, knowing you helped make it all possible.

Volunteering isn't just about helping run an event. It's about becoming part of a community that spends the entire year creating something extraordinary together.

Whether you're looking to meet new people, give back to your community, build experience, or simply see the Spokane Renaissance Faire from a completely different perspective, there's a place for you on our team.

And as our way of saying thank you, you'll earn a complimentary Spokane Renaissance Faire ticket for every four hours you volunteer.

This October, don't just attend the Spokane Renaissance Faire.

Help create it.

The Spokane Entertainers Guild is powered entirely by volunteers. Whether you love performing, building, organizing, teaching, creating content, or helping guests have an amazing experience, there's a place for you here.

Getting Ready for Faire

Everyone remembers to bring their phone for pictures, but there are a few other things experienced Fairegoers rarely leave home without.

A refillable water bottle. Sunscreen. Comfortable shoes. A small bag for treasures that somehow "accidentally" come home from Merchant Row. Maybe even a portable phone charger if you're planning to spend the whole day with us.

A little preparation means less time worrying about what you forgot and more time enjoying everything the village has to offer.

What's one thing you always make sure to bring to Faire?

Some performances are worth planning your weekend around.

This is one of them.

Friday night is your one and only opportunity to see The Wellermen at the Spokane Renaissance Faire. Thanks to an exclusive agreement, this will be their only Pacific Northwest performance within 300 miles during this time. If you've been hoping to experience them live, this is your chance.

The evening doesn't stop there. The Wellermen will be joined by The Spice Boys, incredible evening entertainment, and a dance party that keeps the celebration going long after the daytime Faire has come to a close.

Some shows you can catch another time.

This one, you can't.

Don't miss the only night they'll take the stage at the Spokane Renaissance Faire.

Love talking about the Spokane Renaissance Faire?

We're looking for volunteers to help represent the Spokane Entertainers Guild at Taste of Coeur d'Alene this Saturday and Sunday!

Community events like Taste of CDA are one of the ways we introduce new people to the magic of the Spokane Renaissance Faire long before October arrives. You'll answer questions, share what makes our Faire so special, meet fellow Renaissance enthusiasts, and help welcome new people into our community.

As our way of saying thank you:

Volunteer one 4-hour shift and earn one complimentary Spokane Renaissance Faire ticket.
Volunteer one 8-hour shift and, if you're 21 or older, earn one complimentary Knightfall ticket.
Volunteers under 21 who complete an 8-hour shift will receive two complimentary Spokane Renaissance Faire tickets instead.

If you'd like to join us this weekend at Taste of Coeur d'Alene, we'd love to have you on the team!

Every Faire has one story that gets told over and over again.

Maybe it was meeting your best friend. Maybe it was finally finishing a costume after months of work. Maybe it was introducing someone to their very first Renaissance Faire and watching them completely fall in love with it.

Years later, those are the stories we still tell.

What's your Spokane Renaissance Faire story?

Let's be honest...

Parking has been one of our biggest opportunities for improvement, and judging by your feedback over the years... you agree.

As the Spokane Renaissance Faire has grown, welcoming thousands of guests safely and efficiently has become a bigger challenge every year. Even after moving to the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center last year, we knew there was room to improve.

So this year, we're doing something about it.

We're launching a brand new Parking Team dedicated to directing vehicles into parking areas, keeping traffic flowing smoothly, and helping every guest start their day with a safe, organized arrival. It may not be the flashiest job at Faire, but it's one of the most important.

As our way of saying thank you, you'll earn one complimentary Spokane Renaissance Faire ticket for every 4 hours you volunteer.

If you'd like to help us make this year's arrival experience the best it's ever been, we'd love to have you on the team.

The village doesn't go to sleep when the sun goes down.

As the evening settles in, Knightfall brings an entirely different energy to the Spokane Renaissance Faire. Friday night features the only Spokane performance by The Wellermen, along with The Spice Boys, and a dance party that keeps the celebration going well into the night.

It's a side of Faire that many guests have never experienced, and once you do, you'll understand why so many people make a full weekend out of the event.

If you've only joined us during the day, maybe this is the year to stay after dark.

There's a moment every year when it finally feels real.

Maybe it's buying your tickets. Maybe it's pulling your costume out of the closet. Maybe it's seeing performers announce they're on their way to Spokane.

Whatever it is, there's always one moment when your brain switches from, "Faire is still a ways off," to, "Wait... it's almost here."

We're getting close.

What moment makes it feel real for you?
