Over the past week, we’ve welcomed more than 2,000 firefighters and Incident Command personnel to the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center. The generosity shown by our community has been absolutely overwhelming.

From snacks and beverages to hygiene products, food services, and even donated boots — the support for these brave men and women has been truly incredible. Your kindness has made a real difference during an exceptionally challenging time, and we cannot thank you enough.

At this time, the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center is no longer accepting donations on-site.

If you would like information on where to donate moving forward, please visit:

Thank you, Spokane, for standing behind our firefighters and supporting our community. Your compassion and unity continue to shine. ❤️🔥

Update on Animal Donations!

First, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated. Your generosity, kindness, and quick response have made an incredible impact during a very challenging time. We are truly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community.

We want to share an important update: We are no longer accepting donations at the fairgrounds, as we have reached capacity. All animal-related donations are now being redirected to the OLD Sears at Northtown Mall, 4750 N Division Rd, Spokane, WA.
This location is also accepting donations for people affected by the fires, including clothing, hygiene products, food, and other essential items that can help those who need them most.

For more details on the location, please visit Spokane County Emergency Management.
For large animal donations such as hay and grain, please call 509-507-6044.

For all other pet-related information, please call 509-267-4646.
Lastly, HEART is still accepting monetary donations. If you’re wondering how you can help, please visit
www.heartofspokane.org/donate to make a financial contribution. Right now, monetary support is making the biggest impact.
Here’s why:
*Veterinary care becomes possible for animals in need.
HEART can purchase exactly what’s needed, including specialty items for evacuated animals.
*Bulk supply purchasing at discounted prices stretches every dollar further.
*Supporting local vendors boosts our local economy during this difficult time.

Thank you again for your compassion, your generosity, and your continued support. Our community is stronger because of you.
