Northwest Winterfest is a self-guided walking tour that is also wheelchair accessible. Stroll at your own pace and discover the magical lights and sounds. • Indoors: Guests can enjoy the lights longer this year, according to organizers, “Being indoors
provides a comfortable environment for people to be there longer. In years when the show
was outside, kids were crying because they didn’t want to leave, but it was too cold.“
• Lantern Displays: Feature dozens of groups of themed lantern displays in 5 buildings which
are constructed using a traditional method dating back at least 1000 years.
• Nightly Performances: Various local groups will perform each night. Performers include
Northwest Winterfest’s Performing Team, Jerry Rigged & The Hume’s, Spokane Chinese
Dance Group, Spokane Irish Dancers, Lake City Highland Dance and Hot Club of CDA.
• Themed Areas: All new Dinosaur Land, Dragons’ Lair (featuring 120-foot long dragons!),
Panda Forest and More!
• Food: Mary Lou’s ice cream, apple fries, holiday beverages and Longhorn BBQ. As a 501(c)3 Washington State nonprofit, Northwest Winterfest will always provide FREE access to kids 10 and under. The joy and exposure to something magic and unique for our kids worth every penny we invest into this annual holiday event.
