ChalkStock ChalkStock is an annual sidewalk chalk festival Sponsored by the Blue Water Festival committee. Artists of all ages are welcome to participate!

It is held in conjunction with the Blue Water Festival on the second Saturday in August in Arnolds Park.

Sidewalk Art Festival. Saturday, August 9, 2025.
It is right around the corner! Drawing takes place on the Promenade Sidewalk in Arnolds Park. Participants will be assigned a sidewalk square. Multiple participants may work on a single space. Approximately 60 squares will be available. Chalk pastels will be provided compliments of the Okoboji Blue Water Festival. This fun family event is FREE and open to the public! There is no pre-registration, just show up!
8:00am Start time.
1:30pm Judging begins.
2:30pm Awards
CASH AWARDS
Grand Prize for best chalk art w/ a water quality theme
One Family Award
Most original/Awarded by age groups:
(18+) (14-17yrs) (10-13yrs) (9 yrs and under)
