We saved one more for you... and we hope the wait was worth it.

Cole Swindell, with special guest Ashley Cooke and support act Shawn Mayer, will headline the opening Saturday of the 2026 Clay County Fair on September 12 as part of the SMG Concert Series.

With three incredible artists, chart-topping hits, and a full evening of music, this concert is set to kick off the 2026 Fair in a big way and keep the energy going late into the night.

The gates open to the public at 8:00 PM tonight, giving everyone a chance to catch the final moments of Flagfest: Spurs & Speed Weekend.

Stick around after the rodeo and Midwest Enduro Championship 500 as The Punching Pandas take the stage immediately following the conclusion of the rodeo for the Flagfest Street Dance!

Didn't make it out for the rodeo or races? No problem. Come enjoy the street dance, check out the end of the night's action, and help us close out an unforgettable Flagfest weekend.

🚨 SCHEDULE UPDATE🚨

Youth Mutton Bustin’ will now begin at 1:00 PM today!

To allow the Flagfest Parade to wrap up, we’ve pushed the start time back from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.

🐑 Riders can register on-site at the Outdoor Arena Announcer’s Stand before the event.

Requirements:
• 65 lbs. or less
• Parent/guardian must be present
• Waiver required at check-in
• Long pants and closed-toe shoes or boots required
• Safety gear provided on site

Come early, grab some fair food, and enjoy the afternoon! Afternoon activities at the fairgrounds are FREE and open to the public.

Please note: The fairgrounds will close later this afternoon ahead of tonight’s ticketed entertainment and will reopen for guests with event tickets.

Before you head to the fairgrounds, here's what you need to know:

The fairgrounds will be open throughout the morning and afternoon. Join us for lunch and catch the Youth Mutton Bustin' event in the Outdoor Arena at 12:30 PM. Following Mutton Bustin', the grounds will close to prepare for the evening events and will reopen at 4:00 PM.

🎟 Tickets must be purchased in advance or purchased on your mobile device upon arrival.

The fairgrounds will close at 1:00 PM to prepare for the event and will reopen at 4:30 PM. If you need to purchase tickets in person or conduct business with us, please do so before 1:00 PM, as the grounds will not be accessible ahead of the event.
