Well, as many of you know, I've spent countless hours curating and producing music events and festivals, often at my own expense. I work incredibly hard before, during and after every event. I truly put my heart into every event, but heart doesn’t pay the bills. Families and friends making memories to last a lifetime, doesn’t pay the bills. Providing musicians with an opportunity to perform doesn't pay the bills. The only thing that does pay the bills is money. And I’ve spent more than $40,000 of my own money over the last 6 years producing events. That’s money I didn’t have. So, I took out loans, maxed out credit cards and spent my inheritance to create all of these events. And in every way they were a smashing success, except financially. While I am a for profit business, I've not made any real profit, but I tell myself, these experiences and memories are bigger than money. And I do firmly believe this to be true and I feel that the time, energy, love and money that I put into creating these events is an investment into something bigger than myself.

If you've ever attended or performed at one of my little shows or festivals, then you know how impactful they are and without your help, I will not be able to continue to create these experiences for all of us. I put everything I had left into making "Shine On Music Fest" a total success, but the number of tourists expected was grossly exaggerated by the media and as a result, Shine On Music Fest was once again a smashing success in every way, but financially.

Now I’m behind on every single bill, my credit is shot and I’m at risk of losing my house and car. Even my job is in jeopardy because of the amount of time and energy that I spent preparing for this last festival. Even with some artists performing for free, or cheaper than normal, with the help of volunteers, donations and sponsorships, we still came in way under the breakeven point. So, please donate if you ever performed, attended or felt inspired by any of these events "Shine On Music Fest", "Forever Fest with Todd Snider", ” Dan Tyminski Band", "Dark Side of the Barn", "Riddle Point Boogie with Chicago Farmer", "One for the Ages", "Hood Holler Hangout", "An Evening with George Walker - Original Merry Prankster", Twanger Plunkers Family Reunion "Bus to the Future", "W***y Nilly and The Chakra Trip Cookie Factory", "Vaudevillian Carnival" with John Welton & The Awakening plus shows from Eric Bolander, Eddie Heinzelman, Chance Stanley and so many more. I need to raise $20,000 to pay bills, musicians, audio engineers, staff and the venue. In the past, I’d just take out a loan and pay everyone, but I can’t anymore. I’m out of lifelines and I am in dire need of your help. Please give what you can and know that I love all of you whether you can afford to help or not. And remember, in times of darkness, Shine On!

Thanks Everyone!
