p Copperhead in Spavinaw, OK, located 20 minutes from the Battle of Cabin Creek battlefield, will commemorate the 160th anniversary of the Civil War with the Reenactment of the Battle of Cabin Creek on March 11-12th, 2023. Learn about the battle through the voices of reenactors portraying their ancestors, hear the cannons fire, smell the black powder, listen to the hoofbeats of the Calvary, the beat of drums, and the pounding of boots. Throughout the weekend, experience a self-guided tour of military camps and drills by infantry and artillery as demonstrators will present living history impressions of military and civilian life. Stroll Sutler’s Row for period souvenirs and enjoy a variety of food options. The living history weekend will feature Civil War-era Battle of Cabin Creek reenactment on Saturday at 1pm, as well as Sunday at 1pm. Artillery night fire at dusk on Saturday followed by an Old-Fashioned Barn Dance. Friday, March 10th is filled with educational programs and demonstrations free for students of all ages. Groups and Clubs may call (918) 864-2662 to register for the event. General Admission Tickets: (Saturday & Sunday) $5 per day per adult and children 10 and under are free. Early Registration until February 1, 2023
$15 per person ages 16 and over. Regular Registration is from February 2, 2023, until March 1, 2023
$20 per person ages 16 and over. Late registration or Walk-on can be made onsite
$30 per person ages 16 and over. Children ages 10-15 are $15
Children 9 and under are free but must be registered and appear in period clothing
*Parent or Guardian must complete and sign for minor children 18 and under
