Just days before Hog Fest, we discovered that our event trailerāfilled with the essential equipment that helps make this event possibleāwas stolen.
This wasnāt just "stuff." This is how we bring our community togetherā¦ and how we give back.
Hog Fest supports Mobile Meals, which delivers 1,300 meals every single day to homebound residents across Spartanburg County. Now, with an estimated loss of about $25,000 (roughly 3,600 meals), weāre facing a tough reality: funds meant to help our neighbors may have to be used just to replace what was taken.
With the festival happening this weekend, the clock is ticking.
But if thereās one thing we know, itās this: Spartanburg shows up.
