It’s STANSFIELD WEEK, baby! The Shootout might be over, but that doesn’t mean you get to vanish into the wilderness like a dart player who swears they’re “retiring after this season” (they’re not, and we all know it), or says "I only need to run to the bathroom..." after the coin flip.

As you’re roaming around this weekend—hydrated, under-caffeinated, over-confident—do the honorable thing: stop in and support the sponsors who keep this beautiful chaos alive. These legends don’t just help run the Shootout… they help send teams to Stansfield every year, which means they are directly responsible for:
- questionable life choices
- heroic 3‑mark comebacks
- someone yelling “ONE MORE SHOT” at 1:47 AM
- and at least three people losing their voices before Sunday

So swing in. Buy a drink. Order food like you haven’t eaten since warm-ups. Tell them “thank you” for fueling our dart addiction and enabling our annual pilgrimage to Stansfield.

And if you really want to make their day, deliver that thank-you with the same intensity you use when calling out a sandbagger. They’ll appreciate the passion.

Well, that’s a wrap! We officially hosted 334 shooters across 5 events, throwing a total of 616 matches and paying out over $20,000 throughout the weekend. Absolutely incredible.

Thank you to every shooter—and to your families and friends—for being part of this year’s Sparta Shootout. We can’t wait to welcome you back February 5–7 next year.

Even though the competition is complete, our gratitude isn’t. We still owe a huge thank‑you to all of our sponsors. Please stop in, support their businesses, and let them know how much they mean to this event.

On behalf of Shane and me, thank you for all the comments and compliments about the continued growth of the Shootout. We’re always working to make things smoother, bigger, and better each year.

We would be remiss if we didn’t recognize the Sparta American Legion and their staff—many of whom volunteer countless hours from their organization to make this event possible. Your kindness, patience, and support mean everything.

Tear‑down may be underway, but trust us… planning for next year has already begun.

Good luck to all of our Youth shooters today! Fourteen talented throwers are battling it out, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch them shine.

Huge thanks to the Sparta American Legion and Stansfield Vending for making this a FREE entry for our youth. They’re the future of our sport—give it a little time and you’ll be losing to these rising stars with a smile.
