This year will be a hybrid virtual ceremony held without an audience but streamed live on the War Memorial Center's page on 11-11-2020 at 10:30 am. Please share on your pages the attached poster on your personal page and any other social media sites (Blue Knights, Marine Corps League, Legion Posts, VFW Posts, yacht clubs, historical societies, Masonic organizations, HOG, etc.) you can think of with the caption:
This year's keynote speaker will be
Maj. Gen. Paul E. Knapp, Adjutant General of the
Wisconsin Army and Air National Guard

Hi everyone, our post will be hosting a Sendik's grill event (. the last one of the year).
It will be at the Sendik's on 51st and Rawson. It will be from 11am to 4pm. On Sunday Sept 6th.
Attached is our menu and prices.
If possible stop by and enjoy some food and food conversation..

On March 15th, the Van Eimeren-Kolonka American Legion, post 27, will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for the family of one of our Lifetime members, Raymond Dahlke.

Ray was a lifetime Legionaire for 23 years, in addition to being a lifetime member of AMVETS post 4.

A fund raiser for Raymond's family will be held on March 15th, with a 50/50 Raffle at the South Milwaukee AL Post 27, located at 920 Monroe Ave in South Milwaukee.

Everyone is welcomed to attend

On March 20, 2020, the South Milwaukee American Legion Post 27, will be having our birthday dinner. It will be our 101st birthday, hosted by the SMAL Auxiliary Unit 27.

It will be held in our Post hall at 920 Monroe Ave, South Milwaukee.

Cocktails will be at 5pm

Dinner will commence at 6pm.

As March 20th, is LENT, we will be serving a Meatless Lasagna or Spaghetti with an Italian meatless sauce. At this time we are not sure which entree will be served.

And for those that do not adhere to LENT, there will be Italian meatballs as well.

TBD other delicious items.

Ticket prices will be either $10.00 or $12.00 depending on which pasta entree that will be served.

There will also be a raffle and a 50/50 raffle.I

On Saturday December 28th, 2019, Honor guard Commander William Moore, Post Commander Ray Grabowski, Finance Director James Borland' and Legionaire member Frank Magestro were invited to perform the flag ceremony at the 2019, Wisconsin All Academies Military Ball at the Phister Hotel. The military Academy Ball is held every year to honor those cadets at the various military academies who are from Wisconsin.
It was an honor to be asked to perform flag ceremonies for the midshipmen and cadets.
A good time was had by all.

The South Milwaukee American Legion Post 27 and the Auxiliary Unit 27 are holding a Meat and a50/50 Raffle on November 22 from 630p to 830p at our Legion Post at 920 Monroe Ave, South Milwaukee next to the SM public library.

The 50/50 is One dollar per ticket or six tickets for 5 dollars
The Meat Raffle is two dollars per ticket or three tickets for five dollars
In the past the Meat Raffle packages contained the following items;

5-8 - pound Pork Loin;
16 - half pound bacon Chuck patties;
Beef Roast
Turkey
Surf and Turf (Shrimp and rib eye)

It should be noted that the items above were NOT all in one item
But one item per package with various kind of side dishes.

Hi everyone, the South Milwaukee American Legion Auxiliary Unit 27 is holding a meat and 50/50 raffle on October 19th at the East Side Tavern.
Come on down and check it out. It's for a very good cause.

On Wednesday November 20th, 2019 the Lion Ed Hegeman Memorial Blood Drive will be hosted by the South Milwaukee Lions Club.

Please donate, or ask a friend. There will be Sandwiches, cookies, and beverages made available for donors.

"You'll feel a stick and a sting", and a great feeling helping others.

Please remember your photo ID and a list of prescription medications.
The blood center is the only provider of blood to hospitals in our community.
