Hello All,
My name is April and I am your Volunteer Coordinator for both Valhalla Renaissance Faire and Folsom Renaissance Faire this year. I am asking for those that are planning to volunteer this year, to please send an email to [email protected] confirming what faire or faires you are able to volunteer at. Please remember that Valhalla will be at a new location, and will be one weekend. When responding, Please include which show you are volunteering, and your availability.
Valhalla will be August 15 and 16. We are at a new site this year. We will need volunteers to help as early as August 13 thru August 17 2026.
Folsom will be September 26 and 27. We will need volunteers as early as September 24 2026.
We are asking our volunteers to help build our site. Help scan tickets, To sit gates, help with whatever is needed. We need as many hands as possible setting up and tearing down. We are not asking any of our volunteers to do anything we have not done before. We will feed you!!
We are looking forward to putting on 2 great shows this year.

⚜️ Huzzah! The New Valhalla Renaissance Faire Website Is Live & Tickets Are Now On Sale! ⚜️

The wait is over! We are thrilled to unveil our brand-new website and officially open ticket sales for the 2026 Valhalla Renaissance Faire.

I'm especially impressed by the handful of overachievers who somehow managed to find the site and purchase tickets before I could even make this announcement. Well played.

Whether you're planning your first visit or returning for another year of adventure, merriment, and unforgettable memories beneath the pines of Lake Tahoe, now is the time to secure your place at the Faire.

To ensure the best possible guest experience, attendance will be limited to just 2,750 guests per day. These daily attendance caps help preserve the immersive atmosphere that has made Valhalla one of the region's most beloved Renaissance events, while also reducing lines and crowding throughout the village. Once tickets sell out, no additional tickets will be released.

All tickets must be purchased online in advance. No tickets will be sold at the Faire gates.

As we prepare to welcome thousands of visitors to our new home at Tahoe Paradise Park, we are also finalizing transportation and parking plans. As in recent years, parking will be located at designated off-site locations, with complimentary shuttle service transporting guests directly to and from the Faire grounds.

We are working closely with local agencies, community partners, and neighboring residents to minimize traffic impacts around the venue. To help support these efforts, parking at shuttle locations will be reserved exclusively for Faire ticket holders, and we anticipate limiting vehicle access on certain roads immediately surrounding the event during operating hours.

Complete parking maps, shuttle schedules, and transportation details will be announced in the coming weeks.

The countdown has begun. Gather your friends, dust off your garb, and prepare for a weekend filled with knights, artisans, musicians, merchants, feasting, and adventure.

Help Tahoe Paradise Park & Earn FREE Faire Tickets!

Tahoe Paradise Park is looking for a few strong volunteers to help raise and install the wedding canopy tent for the season.

The final tent components have just returned from the repair shop, so thank you for your flexibility with the short notice. Now that everything is finally back, we're ready to get this beautiful structure up for the summer!

This is hands-on outdoor work involving lifting, stretching canvas, and securing the frame. If you enjoy working outside, community projects, or simply don't mind a good workout alongside good people, we'd love to have you join us.

Coffee, drinks, and snacks will be provided.

When: Monday, June 1, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM
Where: Clubhouse Patio, Tahoe Paradise Park, Meyers
Time Commitment: Approximately 4–5 hours

All tools, equipment, and parking are provided. Just bring:

- Work gloves
- Closed-toe shoes
- A willingness to lend a hand

Even if we end up with more volunteers than we need, that's a great problem to have. Come enjoy a cup of coffee, meet fellow community members, and help support one of Tahoe's treasured gathering spaces.

Please note that the Valhalla Renaissance Faire agenda item for the Tahoe Paradise Park meeting has been rescheduled to June 2nd.

We are still asking for support from those who are able to attend and stand in favor of the faire and the positive impact it brings to the community year after year. Your presence and your voice matter, and they help demonstrate just how much Valhalla means to performers, vendors, patrons, families, and the community as a whole.

For three decades, Valhalla Renaissance Faire has endured because of the people who believe in it, build it, and keep its spirit alive. We hope you will continue to stand with us as we work toward another successful and magical season at Tahoe Paradise Park.

Hear ye, hear ye! The Valhalla Renaissance Faire has officially received approval — and we are thrilled to announce that the 2026 Valhalla Renaissance Faire will take place August 15–16 at beautiful Tahoe Paradise Park!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who showed patience, kindness, positive energy, and overwhelming support throughout this process. The encouraging messages, thoughtful feedback, and goodwill sent to the park and community truly meant the world to us. We are deeply grateful for this incredible community and cannot wait to gather with you all once again beneath the pines this August.

Tickets will be going on sale in just a few days, so keep a close eye on our pages and website for the official announcement. Please note that attendance for this year’s event will be capped at 2,750 patrons per day as we work carefully with the venue and community to ensure a successful and enjoyable experience for everyone, with possible expansions in the future.

We are beyond excited to welcome you back to Valhalla for another weekend of magic, music, laughter, adventure, and faire family.

Dear Valhalla Renaissance Faire Community,

We’re excited to share a major update for the 2026 Faire season!

We are currently in discussions with Tahoe Paradise Park about bringing the Valhalla Renaissance Faire to their beautiful venue this August. The park team has been incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic about the possibility of hosting our beloved event.

Tahoe Paradise Park would love to hear directly from you — the patrons, performers, vendors, and supporters who make this community so special — about how much this event means to you and how much support there is for its return.

If you would like to see the Faire happen this year, please take a moment to send them a positive email expressing your support and excitement. Community feedback truly matters, and the more emails they receive, the better!
