Romp through Elizabethan England and immerse yourself in an olde world adventure beneath the towering pines of Camp Richardson. This year’s celebration spans two themed weekends—each offering its own magic, mischief, and mayhem:
• 🏴‍☠️ August 16–17: Pirate Invasion – Join us as swashbucklers take over the shire! Expect salty sea dogs, cannon blasts (metaphorical… mostly), and nautical nonsense.
• 🌸 August 23–24: Midsummer Mischief – The veil grows thin and the Fae emerge for a weekend of enchanted revelry, whimsical wonder, and a little well-placed chaos. Enjoy four stages of nonstop entertainment, including live music, daring feats, juggling, comedic storytelling, Shakespearean vignettes, and expertly choreographed battles. With over 900 costumed performers, the streets are alive with immersive encounters, archery tournaments, and delightful storytelling for both children and adults. Browse more than 100 artisan merchants, offering handmade wares ranging from one-of-a-kind jewelry, woodcrafts, and historic weaponry to fine leather goods, ceramics, clothing, and original artwork.

🎭 Costumes are encouraged. The more you give yourself to the magic, the more it gives back.

Please note that the Facebook group Valhalla Renaissance Faire 2026 Community Ticket Exchange which is administrated by Gina McGrath offering tickets for the faire. Please note that it has been reported as a scam - we have had attendees come that paid her but never received any tickets. Also it's a dummy account, so please be warned regarding any transactions by them.

We want to apologize deeply for the delays at some of the lots, we have called in additional busses which are on their way, and we are also rebalancing the routes.

Thank you for your patience as we realize it has not been an ideal morning, but we are actively working on it today and will keep the increased efforts in place tomorrow as well.

Shuttle Update

Good morning! Shuttles begin running at 8:30 AM this morning.

Exception: The TVC shuttle begins at 7:00 AM.

Shuttle loops are approximately 10–15 minutes, so you shouldn’t have too long to wait between shuttles.

Each shuttle stop will have its own check-in.

Additional check-in will be just inside the park gate, on the right-hand side across from the Pickleball courts servicing locals, ride share drop-offs. It will begin operating around 8:30 AM. We are trying to keep people off the main drive, so if you need to check in, please come into the park as soon as possible.

If you already have a wristband, you can head down to the Faire gate. Please note that the Faire gates do not open until 10:00 AM.

The wait is over! We’re excited to share the 2026 Valhalla Renaissance Faire map and entertainment schedule with you! Take a look, plan your day, find your favorite stages, and get ready for a weekend of magic, mayhem & merriment!

A little Faire-world disclaimer: the map may have changed a bit since the first drafts. Topography is not always kind to our plans, and sometimes the land gets the final say! 😄

And while we’re sharing the schedule, it’s still slightly in liquid mode. A few times and performances may shift as we get everything settled, so please check back for updates.

But the Faire is coming together, and we can’t wait to welcome you to Valhalla!

IMPORTANT TICKET SCAM WARNING

We want to remind everyone that ticket scammers are active, and unfortunately, we have just turned away two potential attendees who arrived with bogus tickets.

Please protect yourself: ONLY purchase Valhalla Renaissance Faire tickets through our official ticketing link. Do not buy tickets from individuals on Facebook, Instagram, Craigslist, or other social media/online marketplaces, even if they appear legitimate. You're just feeding their scammer habit.

Don’t risk being turned away at the gate. Buy directly from us and make sure your ticket is legitimate before you arrive.

Please share this warning with anyone planning to attend Valhalla.

LOCAL TICKET HOLDERS – Pick up your wristbands at the park tomorrow.

Local to Tahoe Paradise Park? Save yourself some time on Faire weekend by picking up your wristbands early!

Join us this Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM outside the Tahoe Paradise Park Clubhouse. Simply bring a valid photo ID and proof of address, and a member of the Renaissance Productions team will be happy to get you checked in.

Admission to this year's Valhalla Renaissance Faire is a two-step process.

To help keep the streets surrounding Tahoe Paradise Park clear and minimize traffic impacts on our neighbors, all guests must arrive through one of the designated event parking lots or official drop-off locations.

Step 1: Park at an official event parking lot (or arrive at an approved drop-off location), where your ticket will be verified and you'll receive your admission wristband.

Step 2: Board the shuttle bus to the Faire and begin your adventure!

Please Note: Your ticket alone will not grant admission. All guests must first receive an official Valhalla Renaissance Faire wristband before entering the event.

Official parking locations, shuttle information, and arrival instructions have been announced in the post yesterday (see pinend posts). We appreciate your cooperation as we work to make this year's Faire a smooth experience for both our guests and our neighbors.

A quick note regarding tickets...

First, thank you! We honestly never imagined we'd receive this many messages after announcing that Valhalla had sold out.

That said, we've now received close to 1,000 inquiries asking about additional tickets, refunds, cancellations, and waitlists.

Unfortunately, the Valhalla Renaissance Faire is completely sold out. The event is operating under a strict attendance cap, and we simply cannot sell any additional tickets.

If you're still hoping to attend, we encourage you to check the ticketing page periodically, as returned tickets become available on a first-come, first-served basis. DON'T buy tickets from the vultures claiming to have tickets for sale. You'll lose your money and still be turned away at the gate.

Because of the overwhelming number of inquiries and the fact that we're in the final days of preparing for the Faire, we're unable to maintain a waitlist or notify individuals when tickets become available.

We truly appreciate your understanding and your incredible support. The response to this year's Faire has been beyond anything we expected, and we hope to welcome those who couldn't make it this year at a future Renaissance Productions event.
