The people you refer to as “uneducated hillbillies” are the men and women building back roads and bridges while you wait for someone else to do it! The people you call “dumb rednecks” are the men and women rescuing families with nothing more than a rope and maybe an ATV! The people you like to refer to as “inbred” are the men and women making sure that their “cousin kissing” neighbors have food, clothing and anything else that they need!

So the next time you’re on your “mountain vacation” mumbling snide comments, just remember: We mountain folk get things done, while you wait on someone else to do it! THIS IS A COMMUNITY! THIS IS THE MOUNTAINS!
