I took 7 pictures yesterday, and these were 5 of them (technically, I took them at like 1am this morning 😅). I was very proud of my tetrising to get EVERYTHING we had at the ag center back in one trip between our vehicles! 🤣

I wanted to tell you all how grateful we are for everyone who came out and supported the con yesterday. From volunteers to vendors to attendees.

We host this con for our little community, and it wouldn't be possibly without each and every one of you!

I'll be back SOON with a save the date and involvement opportunities for next year.

UCGC Con Day! Weather Awareness & Important Info

Good morning, UCGC attendees! Today's the day, and we're so excited to see you all!

Weather Awareness:
We'll be monitoring the weather closely throughout the day. Please be aware that conditions may change, and we want everyone to stay safe.

Early Arrival (Weather Permitting):
If you're concerned about weather impacting your arrival time (especially if you're aiming for our VIP 9:00 AM entry or the general 10:00 AM entry), you're welcome to arrive a little early. We'll have the board game playing area open for you to relax in until official entry time.

Potential Power Outage:
In the unlikely event of a power outage during the con, we have candles prepared to place in designated, safe areas. These areas will serve as temporary waiting spaces until power is restored or it's safe for you to travel home. Safety is always priority.

However, if a power outage occurs, we will also have some fun activities to keep the spirit up:

Pokemon Scavenger Hunt: Darkness Edition!

Extended Stay (Severe Weather):

If severe weather is present or imminent at the con's scheduled end time, please know that you are welcome to stay until the weather passes and you feel it's safe to leave.

Sounds like a perfect day for Upper Cumberland Game Con! 🎮 Stay inside, play games, and let the weather rage outside. We've got you covered (literally!). Plus, how cool will it be to battle in our covered outdoor LARP Arena with foam swords as thunder booms and lightning flashes? ⚔️⚡️

(The Ag center has interior brick walls and we will have storm shelter clearly marked. We follow Upper Cumberland Weather and will be monitoring throughout the con! (If you live in the UC and don't follow them, you should fix that!))
