NEW for Pumpkinman 2026 šŸŽƒ

For the first time ever, we’re encouraging Pumpkinman athletes to set up a fundraiser as part of their race experience.

As we head into Pumpkinman’s 20th year, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it will take to keep this event going beyond year 20. The truth is, Pumpkinman is a tremendous feat to produce — and if it’s going to continue, this next step truly needs to take root.

So this year, we’re inviting athletes to help create even more impact.

Our main fundraising partner is the Marshwood Education Foundation, a nonprofit that provides grants to teachers and students for needs and opportunities that fall outside the regular school budget.

Here’s what you can unlock when you set up a fundraiser:

šŸŽƒ Raise $150+

A fundraiser bracelet to wear which will give you access to the Elevated Fundraising Celebration Zone at the finish!

An exclusive upgraded swag bag filled with curated goodies from local merchants and partners you won’t find in the regular race swag bags!

šŸŽƒ Raise $250+

Everything above PLUS a special 20th Anniversary Pumpkinman Hat you can't get anywhere else!

šŸŽƒ Raise $500+ and become a Legend

Everything above plus Legend of the 20th recognition in the keepsake program and special recognition in the celebration zone!

And because this is brand new, we’ll keep adding surprises and partner goodies as we go.

If Pumpkinman has ever meant something to you…
If you’re already registered and want your race to mean even more…
Now’s the time to set up a fundraiser.

šŸ‘‰ Already registered? Log in to RunSignup and choose the Marshwood Education Foundation as your cause.

Help Pumpkinman’s next step take root.

As this year winds down, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting. The good kind. The kind that happens when life reminds you what actually matters.

This fall was quieter for me on purpose.
I self-published my first book (still feels a little wild to say that), and our family welcomed two identical twin granddaughters into the world. Both moments slowed me down in the best possible way and gave me a fresh perspective on time, legacy, and responsibility.

And funny enough… all that reflection kept bringing me back to Pumpkinman.

For nearly 20 years, Pumpkinman has never been about one person. It’s been about people showing up for each other—athletes, volunteers, partners, families—believing that when you come together around something good, it becomes something special.

As we head into a new year, Pumpkinman is stepping into a new chapter.
Not louder. Not bigger for the sake of it.
Just stronger, more sustainable, and more shared.

And as we step into this next chapter, the focus is simple: creating more impact together so Pumpkinman can continue strong for years to come.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who’s been part of this story so far—and I’ve got a good feeling about what we’ll build together next.

Here’s to closing this year with gratitude… and opening the next one with belief.

Some people see ghosts. We see grit. šŸ‘»šŸ’Ŗ
Every Pumpkinman knows what it means to push past fear—on the course, in life, or even when facing that giant bowl of leftover candy. šŸ«

Here’s to courage, costumes, and carving your own path. šŸŽƒ
Happy Halloween from all of us at Pumpkinman!
