It encompasses a half marathon, 10K run, 5K run, and 5K fitness walk. Sunburst Races - South Bend is proud to serve as the unofficial kick-off to summer in The Bend. Our half marathon provides a beautiful course along the scenic St. Joe River. The 10K and 5K runs provide speed and excitement of shorter distances and the 5K walk supports general fitness. Regardless of your distance or pace, all par

ticipants are treated to a world-class finish on the 50-yard line of Notre Dame Stadium. Our Mission:

With thousands of runners, walkers, volunteers, and spectators coming together for Sunburst Races, traffic patterns around downtown and near the course will look a little different on race morning. To help you arrive stress-free and on time, we’re sharing the best routes to the start line.⬇️

Please plan ahead and allow extra travel time – for parking, too!
