East Race Whitewater Festival

Unfortunately we have to cancel the Festival for 2022 due to several reasons. But rest assured we plan to come back with a vengeance in 2023 with many area improvements. Meanwhile the race will still be open as usual for club boaters and public rafting for the 2022 season.

You have 6 days to be guaranteed a super cool T-shirt when you register for an event at the festival ( Boatercross, Riverboard or Freestyle). You can register after next Tuesday but you may not get a shirt and it’s the same price, so you do the math.

We have gift certificates for drinks and food just steps from the East race. We have a brand new park along with a public house. (Howard Park). Historic Corbys bar as seen in the movie Rudy. We have food trucks. We have vendors. We have boats for sale. Boats to demo. We have competition. We have fun races for all ages. (Floatie race). We have the best whitewater park in Indiana. 🤷🏻‍♂️. And last but not least we have Cash O’Riley as our musical guest. Time to register. .

Sneak peek at the festival shirts for the competitors. They are a light grey, dry-wick material with sublimation printing. Which means they’re pretty cool. A big thanks goes out to our printer Jasmyn Russell and the logo designer Jared Emmack, my son.

Boatercross is definitely turning out to be the most popular event that paddlers are getting registered for, the 2 mens’s divisions are growing. The more the merrier. Register early please so I’m prepared with the brackets. Don’t be THAT person that signs up the day of the event.
Plus if you register early you are guaranteed to get one of the really cool shirts we are creating.

P.S. - We need more freestylers, don’t be hesitant , it’s just for fun.
