Bummer news for our upcoming Jaguar Sun x Kurt Travis LIVE at Stockroom East show on 5/29 😫

I hate having to make a post like this, but unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to cancel the remaining dates I had with Jaguar Sun.

To everyone who came out to the shows we already played — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Seeing your faces, hearing you sing along, and getting to share those moments with you truly means the world to me. I love you all so much.

And to everyone who was planning on coming to one of the remaining dates, I’m so sorry. I promise I’ll be back soon and I can’t wait to make it up to you.

Fresh off his performance at the Evanston Folk Fest, will head straight to Stockroom for his South Bend debut on Tuesday, September 15th.

Dean Johnson is a Seattle-based Americana/folk singer-songwriter who, for years was known as the local scene’s best kept secret, working primarily as a bartender. Drawing comparisons to the storytelling style of John Prine and Roy Orbison, Dean’s music is characterized by a “rustic tenor” voice and minimalist guitar arrangements. Signed to iconic indie label Saddle Creek Records, Dean released his debut project in 2023 at 50 years old and has toured with likeminded artists including Gregory Alan Isakov, Kurt Vile & Rilo Kiley.
