Welcome to the Mother Lode Fairgrounds - home of The Hottest Little Fair in California! We are a year-round event venue. We offer RV spaces (first come first serve) with beautifully landscaped grounds, electric, water, and sewer hook ups, a dump station, and restrooms/showers. Our buildings and grounds are available to rent for your next event!

Just a few more days to get those Mother Lode Fair livestock entries submitted! Kiddos, this is your reminder to get those projects entered and make sure everything required is uploaded before the deadline.

Today we pause to remember Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputy David P. “Dave” Grant, who lost his life in the line of duty 22 years ago today while serving this county.

Deputy Grant’s legacy is one of service, sacrifice, and deep commitment to the community he called home. He was part of the fabric of Tuolumne County — the kind of person whose story reminds us what it means to serve with heart, courage, and purpose.

This year, Deputy Grant will be among those honored in the 175 Faces of the Mother Lode exhibit — a fitting recognition for someone whose life and service remain part of the heart of this county.

But today, the focus is simply on remembering him, honoring his family, and recognizing the sacrifice he made in service to Tuolumne County.

🐄 Livestock Exhibitors & Parents: Want a smoother, less stressful Fair week? 🐖🐑🐐

Join us for the Livestock Exhibitor Informational Meeting on Thursday, June 11 at 6:30 PM in the Livestock Barns.

We'll cover load-in procedures, required paperwork, what to expect during Fair week, important reminders, and new rules for 2026—all designed to help exhibitors and families arrive prepared and ready for a successful Fair.

🐇 Rabbit and poultry exhibitors will also be asked to confirm their entries.

The more prepared you are now, the more time you'll have to enjoy the Fair when it gets here! We hope to see you there.

This hands-on event is all about connecting students, families and our community with career pathways, local industry opportunities and the skills that help build strong futures right here in Tuolumne County.

A big thank you to the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools, Sonora Area Foundation and CTE in TC for bringing this inaugural event to life — we’re excited to support programs that invest in our youth, our workforce and our hometown community!

We’re excited to welcome Primo’s to the Mother Lode Fair family!

Primo’s will be serving up hot, wood-fired favorites in the barn area, helping keep our livestock exhibitors, families, barn crews, and fairgoers fueled up for Fair fun. Be sure to check out the menu graphics to see what they’ll be cooking!

Rooted right here in the 209, Primo’s is all about good food, family, and giving back. Every plate has a purpose — and we’re proud to have them joining us at the Fair.

🦅 A Bald Eagle at the Fair? Now THAT’S 4th of July weekend energy! 🇺🇸

The Mother Lode Fair is excited to welcome The Birdman®, the nation’s top bird show, to this year’s Fair!

This incredible 35+ minute show brings education, entertainment, conservation, and jaw-dropping bird encounters together in one unforgettable experience. Fair guests can look forward to seeing an amazing lineup that includes eagles, a hawk, a vulture, a condor, a macaw, and even Ricki the singing parrot!

And yes… a Bald Eagle will be making an appearance at the Mother Lode Fair during 4th of July weekend.

That’s about as Heritage, Honor & Hometown Fun as it gets. 🇺🇸
