Diwali or Deepavali as we all know is the festival of lights signifying the victory of light over darkness or good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair. Let’s celebrate this diwali with even more fervor and gaiety this year, and extend a helping hand to the cause of enlightening the lives of the poor children across the globe. Let’s make this Diwali a special event to remember and make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged children. Having said this, Glitz Events has laid a platform along with Smile Train, An Organization and Charity providing corrective surgery for children born with cleft lips and palates, that is centered around giving back to the under privileged to make Diwali this year even more meaningful. (Cleft lip is a birth disorder, in which the child has an opening in the upper lip that may extend into the nose. This may result in feeding problems, speech problems, hearing problems, and most importantly the inability to smile, This can be corrected by a simple surgery). Considerable percentage of the proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the Charity and will thus, ensure and complete the purpose of Diwali as envisaged in "Victory of light over darkness"
Diwali Gala for a Cause ensures enough entertainment, proud to announce that the Comedy Queen Bharti Singh will be amongst us to perform and hence add that extra dose of laughter. Bharti Singh is the number one female Standup Comedian and Actress. She has won several comedy reality shows and has hosted several others, while acting in some movies as well. We will have an exclusive Fashion show and Meet n Greet with Bollywood Actress the very Beautiful, Georgeous and ever Smiling Nargis Fakri of Housefull 3 and Kick fame
To cap it all, we will have a conglomeration of laughter, entertainment, goodwill, happiness, togetherness and giving back to the under privileged children by just not lighting a "Dia" but also enlightening the lives and giving them the most beautiful gift of "Smile". So, join us on October 23rd, Sunday at 6:00PM at the Elite venue The Marigold, 315 Churchill Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873 for an evening dedicated to a cause, reminding us towards our responsibility to mankind, and filled with live entertainment,performances, socializing, dinner, drinks, raffles, music, dance and a lot more.
