I want to clear up a little confusion that’s popped up around the Hog Days of Summer BBQ Competition.

➡️ Hog Days is NOT canceled.
In fact, it’s bigger and better than ever this year – it’s just flying under a new name and location as part of something exciting.

For 2025, we were approached by Hard Truth Distilling Co. to move the event to their incredible property and partner on what’s becoming a larger movement known as the Boutbon & BBQ Series. After six amazing years of Hog Days, this was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up – and we’re all-in to make this the best year yet.

✅ Same competition.
✅ Same crew you know and love.
🔥 New location: Hard Truth Distilling Co. in Brown County, IN.
🔥 New name: Hard Truth Bourbon & BBQ Festival – July 26, 2025.
🔥 Same fire. Same love. Same BBQ family.

The only reason some folks saw a “canceled event” notice is because we had to remove the original Hog Days event page to prevent location/date confusion. That triggered automatic cancelation alerts – but rest assured:

👉 The event is happening.
👉 If you’ve signed up or paid – you’re good to go.
👉 Your spot is secure, and we’re full steam ahead.

Final details are being wrapped up with Hard Truth this week, and the full cook’s packet will be dropping in just a few days. Stay tuned – it’s going to be an unforgettable weekend.
