JOIN US MONDAY, FEBRUARY 21 THROUGH FAT TUESDAY, MARCH 1 FOR OUR 30th ANNIVERSARY OF THE: MOTHER OF ALL ASCENSIONS UPHILL RACE

With statewide health restrictions still in place due to COVID-19, the 30th annual Mardi Gras Uphill is going to be similar to last year so that we can all stay safe, socially distance, and continue to have fun! So grab your sno

wshoes, alpine touring gear, stabilizers or hiking boots and head to Snowmass Base Village to complete the on-mountain uphill course to High Alpine Marketplace (formerly known as Gywns High Alpine). This winter you will have 9 days to complete the 2,073ft elevation gain route that starts in Snowmass Base Village on Fanny Hill. This means you don’t have to show up Mardi Gras morning at 7AM! REGISTRATION FEE: $30

Registration will take place online ONLY. You may enter NOW or at any time until the event ends at noon on Fat Tuesday, March 1. The uphill course starting slope side on Fanny Hill in Snowmass Base Village and ascending to High Alpine Marketplace (formerly known as Gywns High Alpine) must be completed in-one-go in the 9-day event window. Again, you may register anytime starting now and during the 9-day event window, February 21 – March 1, and the actual course must be completed in-one-go in the 9-day event window which ends at noon Fat Tuesday, March 1. Over $15,000 of incredible raffle prizes again this winter. GOODIE BAG & PRIZE PICK UP: THURSDAY, MARCH 4 – SATURDAY, MARCH 6. After completing the uphill and uploading your time, participants will be able to pick up an event goodie bag and their prize at the Snowmass Base Village Conference Center on Thursday, March 4 and Friday, March 5 from 4-7 pm or Saturday, March 6 from 10 am – 4 pm. During these times, people will need to wear a face covering, stay socially distanced and respect all Public Health Order protocols. So in spite of all that is still happening around us, you can still be part of this super fun Mardi Gras 9 day event without having to be there at 7AM on Fat Tuesday. And you still have a chance to win something at this winter’s heavenly prize drawing!
