Baked Salmon in Foil with Asparagus & Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce
Ingredients :
°4 salmon fillets
°1 lb fresh asparagus
°2 and a half tablespoons of olive oil
°2 minced garlic cloves
°Salt and pepper from the mill
°1 lemon sliced
°Fresh herbs (Rosemary, Thyme, Parsley)
Preparation :
Preheat oven 400°F (200°C). Prepare foil for 4 papillotes. Separate the asparagus into equal portions, and put them in the center of each of the papillotes. In bowl, combine olive oil & garlic. Pour a teaspoon of the oil/garlic mixture over the asparagus. Salt and pepper. Rinse the salmon fillets well and drain. Place the salmon fillets on top of the asparagus. Salt and pepper the fish. Drizzle a teaspoon of the oil/garlic mixture over the salmon. Brush well. Salt and pepper. Put two slices of lemon and herbs on the salmon. Close the papillotes. Bake for 25 to 30 min.

Dear Guest,
Here is THE BIG SHORT of it (really the PROLOGUE of the party):
You are invited to our Annual Oscar Party. It is going on 19 years (not 45 YEARS) that we have hosted this party starting in Los Angeles, you might say, STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON.
The party is in our downstairs ROOM in Snoqualmie (not BROOKLYN) so drive your MUSTANG down FURY ROAD and over to our place on Sunday, February 28th to attend the party.
If you enjoy watching the Red Carpet broadcast, you may come as early as 4:00pm. You need to be at the party by 5:30pm however to be in the running for the Oscar Party Champion. Bring your completed ballot with you. If you forget, EVERYTHING WILL BE OK because we will have blank ballots for you but you may have a BRIDGE OF SPIES watching you as you fill in your choices. The Oscar Party is a potluck event, so please bring a dish to share- if you don't, you might receive A LOOK OF SILENCE from THE HATEFUL EIGHT or so hungry people. If you feel like THE MARTIAN when it comes to movies & Oscars...the guest who has the least correct oscar winners on his/her ballot will win the B***y Prize. Instead of someone saying, "WHAT HAPPENED, MISS SIMONE?" if she only had two matched winners, we will say, "Congratulations! You win the B***y Prize! Only the 100-YEAR-OLD MAN WHO CLIMBED OUT THE WINDOW AND DISAPPEARED has fewer correct!" So, don't be a STUTTERER, tell us as soon as possible if you can make it to the party this Sunday!

YOU ARE INVITED TO OUR 19TH ANNUAL OSCAR PARTY THIS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH. Come as early as 4:00pm for Red Carpet watching but come by 5:30pm with your filled out ballot. Guest who guesses the most winners will receive a trophy and his or her name on the big champions' plaque! Dress is casual. Potluck event: bring your favorite dish, drinks, etc. to share. We will provide lots of candy, popcorn, and fun!
