Overnight Parking Update:

This season, you’ll notice adjustments to snow storage at Alpental, which will impact our traditional overnight parking lot. These changes are necessary due to stormwater management regulations.

We will need to use the traditional overnight lot for snow storage this season. We expect minimal impact initially, but as storms accumulate, we’ll need more space for snow storage, gradually reducing available overnight parking. With normal to above-average snowfall, overnight parking may be eliminated entirely at certain points during the season.

Because of the expected impacts, we’ll release all overnight parking spaces at Alpental on a week-by-week basis, with availability depending on current snow storage needs and weather forecasts.

We understand this is a significant change for our overnight parking community. We appreciate your patience as we navigate these regulations and remain committed to maximizing parking availability whenever conditions allow. We will continue to look at options for meeting the needs of the overnight community.
