A couple of weeks back we had Garrett and Reanna of Shutter Bus Co. to the home of Jon Kaplan Photography's photography studio / event space, "The Darkroom Snohomish". We had a great time with these two and we highly recommend checking out this video and their story if you're looking for a fun photo booth type option for your wedding or event. This is the first interview of a series of interviews - right around the corner we have Amee of Activity Girl, LLC and PJ Parsons of PJ Parsons Presents. Next week we'll be dropping our first interview of what will be a long series of interviews with people in the community, most of which will be within the amazing Snohomish wedding community. Woof! It's been such a crazy few days, but the styled shoot is finally here! Having so much fun in here today getting marketing images of our new spot! This is just a action shot, keep your eyes open for the full batch of images later this week. The world's biggest thank you to all of you that helped us. Amee and John, thank you so much! Working Amee at .llc has been so crucial for our new event space and bringing someone in with such great vision can be so helpful! Thank you!! at is the best! Thanks for being the chief of operations on this whole thing and being so awesome all the time! your flowers rock! You are awesome! thank you for your support on this mission, that was very generous 😁 you guys are fantastic! you are a saint to work with us all day today and we can't thank you enough! My dad! How about these new pieces for The Darkroom? This locker and custom light were both found at - a big thanks to Gina and Andy for being so very helpful these last few weeks! The big styled shoot is this Sunday, behind the scenes updates right here as we get down to the final week of prep!

We're now only a little over a week out from our styled shoot with kfjcreative and featuring hand crafted tables by the one and only !!! "The Darkroom" is shaping up to be a one of a kind photography studio and event space located right in ! Lots to do, but very excited! We just pre-ordered our copy today and we are very excited to read through this beautiful book. Written by Warner Blake and stunning images by Otto Gruele, this book dives into the world of J.S. White, the architect that designed the building that "The Darkroom" is now in. It's amazing how quickly Catherine and I have become wrapped-up in the rich history of this building since moving into it - so excited to learn more!
