Smithville author Michael Corcoran will sign copies of his book "All Over the Map: True Heroes of Texas Music" (UNT Press) today at 5:30 p.m. at the Smithville Public Library. He will also have copies of his two Grammy-nominated book/CDs. Great Xmas presents!

Book signing this Saturday May 20 at 2 p.m. at Midnight Monkey Merchantile on NE 2nd St. (across from Honey's). Michael Corcoran moved back to Smithville in 2015 to finish this book, which tells the history of Texas music through 42 pioneers of sound (including Smithville's own Robert Earl "DJ Screw" Davis Jr.) Corcoran will play music from artists featured in the book until 4 p.m.
