Meet Edmee, a 2025 Lighthouse Swim participant! 🎉 Every swimmer has a story, here’s Edmee’s.

“For me, the Lighthouse Swim was more than a physical challenge — it was a personal challenge to push my limits as a 51-year-old single mom. It was also in honor of my late father, who I used to swim with.

I didn’t train as much as I should have, and on the day of the swim, I was actually quite sick. But my desire to finish, no matter the timing, outweighed every challenge I faced that day.

Crossing that finish line was a true accomplishment and a message to my kids that with will and persistence, you can do anything.” ❤️
