With the Guinness World Record for the most people moose calling simultaneously under our belt, we thought we'd take a look back at some of our other favorite highlights from that great weekend.

It's been a long wait, but we finally have confirmation... We set the Guinness World Record for the most people moose calling simultaneously!

Thank you to the 1,054 people who called and bayed like a moose to make this happen!

We've all been waiting patiently to hear about our Guinness World Record attempt. Well, we have an update:

Guinness has recently requested additional information and evidence to verify our attempt. We are submitting the additional evidence as soon as possible to keep this process moving.

There's a record for everything.

Update: we submitted our evidence for the Most People Moose Calling Simultaneously in mid-July which means we should be hearing from the Guinness World Records at the end of Oct/beginning of Nov.

We had some amazing (a-moose-ing?) entries in the kids' coloring contest -- it was so hard to choose the winners! Here are the winning entries, plus a pic of one of the winners who was so happy she just had to share a photo with her prize basket!

Over a thousand people packed the Skowhegan Fair grounds Saturday in hopes to beat a Guinness World Record.

Congratulations to Charlie and Olivia Staples, winners of our moose scavenger hunt! They figured out the clues and found the moose at River Roads Artisans Gallery, Old Mill Pub, Gifford's Ice Cream, Computer Improvements, Boynton's Greenhouse, Inc, Oak Pond Brewery, and Bigelow Brewing Company. They'll receive a $200 gift card to Cabela's. Thanks to Diandra Staples for the fabulous photos!

We think it's pretty likely that we set the Guinness World Record for the most people moose calling simultaneously, but we won't officially know until Guinness reviews the footage, which could take up to three months. Many thanks to the more than 2,000 people who were in the grandstands moose calling with us! We're excited to secure Skowhegan a place in the record books!

In an attempt to set a Guinness World Record, more than 1,600 people in Maine belched out their best moose call in chorus for at least 30 seconds on Saturday.
