Skokie's Backlot Bash is a street festival held every August in Downtown Skokie featuring carnival rides, events for all ages and a concert stage featuring regional and national acts. The event is a collaboration between the Skokie Park District, The Village of Skokie and the Skokie Chamber of Commerce.

What an incredible weekend at Skokie’s Backlot Bash! From start to finish, the energy, the music, and the smiles made it unforgettable. This festival is more than just food, music, and fun—it’s a true labor of love. It takes months of planning, hard work, and dedication from so many people: our volunteers, staff, sponsors, and the presenting agencies who come together to make it happen. It’s all worth it when we see our community gathered to feel happy, excited, and connected.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing performers who kept us dancing and singing all weekend long—especially our headliners: Elements: The Definitive Earth, Wind & Fire Tribute, Strangelove: The Depeche Mode Experience, and Tributosaurus becomes Van Halen.
